THIS BEAUTIFUL LIFE | HEART & HOME COLLECTION | SOPHIE DELORME

Hello, hello! It’s Anna here and today I don’t have a layout for you! While I was waiting for the brand new “Heart & home” collection to arrive, I once again decided to make “use as much as you can” type of project with the older line. Those cabins won’t stretch any more further so I need to make some room. Truth to be told – I would probably need to make 100 of albums like this to notice some empty space… However, the result of my internal challenge is cute, colorful mini album made with wonderful “Happy days” collection. I need to warn you that I have many photos to share with you.
I made this mini album from scratch, using three pieces of cardboard for the cover and some colorful cardstock for the page bases. I arranged them in rainbow order inspired by all the rainbows in “Happy days” collection. I also went through all the pattern papers and chose few in matching colors to continue the rainbow trend. I used both 12*12 papers like “Lush blooms”, “Flutterby”, Juicy friut”, “Feel good”, “Little blossoms” , “Sunshine lollipops” along with A5 Paper Stack.
Album is quite small, measuring only 10*15 cm, but each page has some folded flaps or pockets so it can hold many photos. You can easily expand the album even further by adding even more flaps on the back of each page.
This is how it looks from the side, with cascade of pages, each 1cm smaller than a previous one. There is plenty of room to add more volume with photos and embellishments.
To decorate the pages, I reached for almost all of the embellishments from this collection. I used Accesory stickers, Die cuts ephemera, Floral ephemera, Chipboard titles, Puffy stickers and Puffy hearts. I only added the glue on the edges of the embellishments so you can still tuck the photo behind it!
I also added some embellishments on the back of each page, the way you can look at it without turning the album upside down. As I mentioned each page has some flap or pocket for more room for photos. It was hard to photograph them so you need to believe me they are there.
Here are all the album pages I created:
And that is all! I know it was a lot of photos but it was hard to choose only few pages to showcase. I hope you like this mini album.
That is all for today! We will see each other in September and I will for sure have a project made with brand new CVS baby! Can’t wait to dive in. Thank you so much for spending your precious time with me.
XO Anna
Hi creative friends,
It’s Tarrah back with you and today I am excited to be sharing a layout with you featuring the new GORGEOUS Heart and Home collection! I love the handmade feel to this collection.
I started by choosing a cut file from CUT to YOU, I cut it out from the ‘B’ side of the gorgeous Fall Beauty paper. I was certain to place the cut file in the centre of the paper so I could use the outline as the background for my layout. I adhered the cut file to a plain sheet of white cardstock and trimmed down the cardstock to measure approximately 11′ x 11′ and adhered it the remainder of the Fall Beauty paper. I then machine stitched a border around the outside to add to that handmade feel.
I am documenting a photo of myself with my friends from one of their 50th birthdays a few years ago. Such a fun night celebrating! I placed the photo on the right hand side of the page and layered a piece of vellum and a frame from the die-cut pack underneath. I adhered the photo using craft foam to add a little dimension to my page. On top of the photo, I added a phrase banner from the die-cut pack and also placed a rectangle sticker from the accessory sticker sheet to the left of the photo.
At the bottom of the photo, I placed the paper strip with the cross hearts on it from the ‘Gather’ paper. I also tucked in some florals from the floral die-cut pack and placed a banner die-cut and a round die-cut both from the ephemera pack. To the right side of my photo, I tucked in some more florals here and also placed a word sticker from the Accessory Sticker sheet. My title is the ‘Together’ word from the gold title die-cut pack. I just love the gold foil on these! So pretty!
To balance out the heavy right side of the page that features my photo and title, I created a small cluster of embellishments that features mostly florals and a Love die-cut. I used different levels of adhesive here to show different levels of dimension. I also placed some more word and phrase stickers here from the Accessory sticker sheet. Lastly I placed some enamel puffy shapes and I stamped the date stamp to document the date of when the photo was taken.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Cocoa Vanilla blog! I hope you enjoyed reading about how I created my layout as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Happy creating!

Hi everyone, I am so happy to be back today sharing my first layout with the brand new ‘Heart and Home’ collection. This range has a very autumnal, warm colour palette and I think is a very versatile collection to document all the things you are grateful for in your life…hence I chose a family photo to scrapbook. Here is my page..
I couldn’t decide which papers I wanted to use so I decided to try and get a variety of them onto my page so I started with cutting some zig zag / chevron shapes in 3 of the different papers, and to use the woodgrain paper for my background…. I LOVE woodgrain papers ..they add such a nice texture to a page.
Next, I double mounted my photo and placed it on top of the text paper with some foam dimension.
I knew I had to use some of the florals on my page so I created a visual triangle around my page… one on the top right of my photo, one to the bottom left and one at the top left of my page. I used florals from the Floral Ephemera Pack and also fussy cut some from the ‘Bountiful’ paper.
In the top right cluster I used some pieces from the Ephemera Pack..
For my title I used one of the Titles with Gold Foil and popped a house from the Ephemera Pack underneath it… then fussy cut some hearts from the ‘Gather’ patterned paper and placed them under my title.
At the top of my page on top of the floral cluster I used a word sentiment from the ‘Gather’ paper to finish it off.. and also used some Puffy Hearts around my page.
My finsishing touch was a little hand stitching…love little details!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my first page with ‘Heart and Home’ and be on the look out for more inspiration from the DT with this new collection.
Happy Scrapping!

Hey y’all! Laura Alberts back again with a fun grid layout using the Storyteller collection for my graduation photos! If there was ever a set of pictures that had a story to tell, it’s these ones! I love how perfectly the colors in this collection matched my robes and stadium.
For this grid, I used four 4 x 4 1/2 inch bases for my 3×4 inch photos. By pairing journaling cards with the two profile photos and frames or flags with the landscape style photos, I created continuity across the grid that allowed me to go wild with the embellishing! Chipboard butterflies gave these layered squares a 3D effect that really made them pop.
By choosing colors for my bases that either contrast or compliment the photos, I can make specific photos more of a focal point on the page. The yellow squares give two of the photos a little bit more prominence and catch your eye first thing. Using a mix of puffy stickers, chipboard, and ephemera to embellish these squares makes each of them unique and interesting.
But, my favorite detail on this page is the Nuvo drop border between the grids. It’s a small addition that gives this page so much character!
I hope this layout inspires you to freshen up your grid layouts with a variety of embellishments! To see how “Special to Me” came together, check out the process video below:
Hello friends!
It’s Sophie on the blog today with a new layout to share!
I used the Happy Days collection for this page. I had a photo of my daughter on the lake and had the idea to cut a few wave shaped borders out of patterned papers and arranged them at the bottom of a 11×11 inches white frame to create movement and fun waves.
I placed the frame on a 12×12 white cardstock.
I mounted my photo on tissue paper and adhesive foam, and embellished around it with beautiful flowers from the Happy Days Floral Ephemera pack.
I used the Happy Days Chipboard Titles for my title and added a subtitle cut out of a patterned paper.
I handwrote my journaling directly on the white cardstock, added a few embellishments at the top of the photo and stamped the date.
Here are more close-ups:
It’s very simple and different. I really like the result! I hope you like it too!
Thank you for stopping by, you will find a Reel of my process on the @cocoavanillastudio Instagram account and on mine @so_scrappy
Have a great crafty day!

Welcome back to the Cocoa Vanilla blog everyone, it’s Kel here today to share my next layout using the Happy Days collection.
I decided I wanted to limit my colour choices to the magenta, yellow and aqua colours in the collection and this is what I came up with… I just LOVE this colour palette..
To start my page, I traced some circles in different sizes onto my background using a black permanent marker, then coloured them in using some watercolour. Next, I added some stamping in circular shapes in corresponding colours to help fill in my background.
To keep with the circular elements of my background, I cut my photo into a circle and backed it onto another circle using the Feel Good paper. I also cut some circles out of the Feel Good, Little Blossom and Flutterby papers to help fill out the background.
Next, I worked on my title. I used the ‘Hello’ banner flag from the Ephemera pack and some of the Chipboard Title Stickers. The word ‘girl’ didnt come as a word in the pack so I just made my own word with the letters on offer.
Next came the fun part of embellishing! On the right side of my photo I used the two pinwheels from the Ephemera Pack and also the sun which I layered under the ‘Hello’ flag.
To the left of my photo I used some of the florals that I cut from the ‘Lush Blooms’ paper. I also used some of the tiny florals that I cut from the A5 Paper Stack to scatter across my page. I also created a small cluster of the florals to the right side of my page.
I love the phrase stickers found on the Accessory Sticker Sheet and I used some of them under my photo and on the right side of my page.
I still felt my page need more so I used some of the butterflies from the Ephemera pack and some which I cut from the Flutterby paper..one next to my florals on the left, and a few ‘flying’ up the right side. I love to use dimensional foam under these to help them pop off the page.
Lastly, I used some of the Puffy Stickers to finish off any gaps, and stamped some black hearts to co-ordinate with my black and white photo and the black in the title…this helps make the colours on the page stand out.
Thanks for stopping by today and you feel inspired.
Stay Scrappy

Hey y’all! Laura Alberts here with a fun large photo layout! I love scrapping large photos like this 6×12 layout that I had printed of my second oldest on a camping trip. Love the way I can incorporate the gorgeous rainbow design on this patterned paper from the Happy Days collection. Using a tone on tone embellishing style helped this layout feel fun without overwhelming or overshadowing the photo.
On each stripe of the rainbow, I added a coordinating word phrase from the 12×12 cut-apart patterned paper and a few fussy cut elements that were close matches. I particularly loved all of the stitching details on this paper and tried not to cover them up! The trail of butterflies on the right side was a great way to add movement and whimsy to the page.
With a simple chipboard title at the bottom and journaling added in the center of the rainbow, this layout came together fairly quickly, but turned out beautiful! All of the little details make it such a memory beautifully preserved. My favorite part is the tiny, fussy cut florals on each stripe of the rainbow.
I hope this layout inspires you to try larger photos or tone on tone embellishing in your next design! If you’d like to see how this layout came together, check out the process video below:
Hello everyone! Summer is in full swing in Europe and we are having a lot of sun and warmth. Sometimes even too much for my liking. However, it’s still better than being constantly cold, right? We have a perfect theme for this week over CVS blog and it’s FUN IN THE SUN. And you know I love all the colorful, summer collections and projects! I reached for an older “Sunkissed” collection as it seemed perfect for this job. I still have plenty of papers and some embellishments and I need to squeeze it as much as possible. I think I will have to make a “leftover album” too to finish it of.
I picked a navy paper called “Bright side” and cut a decorative circle with words using my digital die cutting machine. It says “summer fun” all around! I was looking for a perfect background paper but all the ones I got left didn’t match so I took a white cardstock and two Distress Oxide inks: Picked raspberry and Salty ocean and created ombre, circlular effect. My inspiration for the colors came from a swimsuit of my daughter. I didn’t place the circle direclty in the middle, setting it off to one of the corners.
I scrapbooked joyful photos of my daughters riding a waterslide during one of our summer holidays. They were running up and down to slide as many times as possible. They even held a competition who will slide faster. And I was there with the camera as good mamarazzi! My Ephemera Pack is already half empty but I still managed to find two swimsuits in matching colors! Lucky me! I also searched for flowers in pink and blue in my Floral Ephemera Pack.
I also have few Puffy Stickers left so I added them around the photos. The same with Wood Epoxy Button!
This collection also includes beautiful Clear Stickers and I used few of them to embellish the background. You need to be careful with using them of colorful backgrounds as they may change the color, influenced by the one dehind them.
I had so much fun making this page and I love this navy, pink and blue color palette! I must reach for it more often.
That is all for today. I hope you will find some inspiration in my page for all your “fun in the sun” projects!. Thank you so much for sticking out with me and see you in August!

Hello, Paperlovers!
Welcome to Cocoa Vanilla Studio’s blog; how lovely to have you here today! I’m Josefine, and I’m happy to share with you a new scrapbook layout filled with summer fun. For this project, I’ve chosen the amazing “Happy Days” collection. This bright summer colors bring my memories to life on paper, and I couldn’t be more excited to dive into this creative journey.
To start off, I’ve used a white sheet of cardstock as my base. The design paper with its vibrant rainbow pattern caught my eye, and I carefully cut each colored strip separately. Adding a touch of light blue stitching along the edges by using my sewing machine. So I create a lovely touch to the strips.
With the strips I begin to arrange them into a triangle design. For some of the strips, I fold them slightly to create more depth and dimension, adding a playful touch to the overall layout. Now, it’s time to incorporate my summer fun photo, almost in the center on top of the colorful strips. I also select various shape die-cuts and flower die-cuts to create clusters around the photo. To add more charm, I cut out butterflies from the patterned paper and place them strategically between the clusters. A smaller cluster in the upper right corner helps to balance the layout.
For the title, I go for a combination of different alphabet sets. “Sweet Summer Days” perfectly captures the essence of this layout, and I love how the mix of these two different alphabet sets adds a playful touch. A little colored tab beneath the photo and a few cardstock word strips complete my layout. And there you have it, a finished a summer fun scrapbook layout!
I hope this layout sparks some creative ideas for you, and I wish you a fantastic and artistic day. Until next time on the Cocoa Vanilla Blog.
