Storyteller wood epoxy buttons

Hello CVS friends here is my second layout using the beautiful Storyteller collection. The star of my layout is my rescue cat who brings so much love and joy to our home!

The circle heart cut file can be found in the Silhouette Design Store. As I cut it in white it blends perfectly into the white base paper. I used papers from the A5 Storyteller paper pad to cut the hearts and I used five different colours/patterns. I cut some extra ones so I could layer up some of the heart to create dimension, I have not used any of my 12×12 inch papers here.

I cut my photo to fill the circle centre, a 6×4 inch landscape photo fits perfectly. I next added my title using the foam title stickers, slightly curving it to the circle shape. When you have a page that has a significant amount of white, using black is a wonderful contrast and makes your title pop!

I next set about creating a floral cluster under my photo using the floral ephemera pack. So your floral bunch doesn’t end up looking ‘flat’, layer them and some add foam tape and then go back and tuck in leaves and sprigs. Again I followed the shape the photo centre circle.

I created a smaller embellishment cluster using the die cut ephemera pack, wood epoxy buttons and chipboard. Again layer your embellishments, here I added the camera with foam tape, tucked under a chipboard butterfly and layered over a chipboard sentiment, finished off with a wood epoxy button.

Lastly I went back and added some more butterflies, wood epoxy button and a phrase sentiment die cut. The colours of Storyteller go perfectly with the colours of my photo. I love how this turned out and after the loss of two cats in the last year I am focusing on taking more photos of my pets.
