Mothers Day | These Days Collection | Danni Visser
Hello Cocoa Vanilla fans! Danni here with a Mother’s Day layout featuring the gorgeous These Days collection. This week we are taking inspiration from borders and frames, and I was instantly drawn to the Wall of Fame 12×12 patterned paper with the idea of making a gallery wall-style layout.

I carefully fussy cut all the little frames from the paper, then printed out a bunch of photos in a tiny format (roughly 2×3 inch). I decided which frames I was going to use to frame my photos, using an extra sheet of the Wall of Fame paper as a guide for where the frames would be positioned on the final layout.

I carefully cut out the inside of the photo frames using a craft knife, then framed my photos with them using tape adhesive, trimming away any excess from the photos. The remaining frames I left intact so I could decorate the insides later. I popped all the frames up on dimensional foam so they would stand out on the page.
For my background I chose the Good Life 12×12 patterned paper because I love the bright pink and the subtle heart pattern. Using my spare sheet of the Wall of Fame paper as a guide, I carefully positioned all the frames back into their original positions and adhered them down onto my background paper.
For my title I used the mini puffy alphabet stickers to spell out Mothers Day inside one of the empty frames. I had a little space left inside the frame, which was perfect to add the date using a roller date stamp and dark grey ink.
I wanted to decorate some of the empty frames, so I chose some clear stickers because they show up beautifully on the white paper. I sprinkled some trees, butterflies and hearts throughout the empty frames. I also added some of the tiny phrases from the accessory stickers.
Lastly, I added the floral watering can from the die cut ephemera, snipping it in half so I could add it to two different frames. I decided to leave the remaining frames blank because the layout was already looking quite busy. I love how this one turned out!
If you would like to watch this layout come together, you can watch the process video on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio YouTube channel below. Thanks for joining me today. Happy scrapping!

For this layout, I wanted to capture a photo of me and my husband. We were invited to the king’s ball. The beautiful collection ” These Days” fits perfectly with the beautiful romantic pastel shades. First, I used black thread to sew a circle on the white cardstock background. Then I used a circle confetti punch from “EK Success” to punch out several circles from the pretty pink dots design paper and taped them into the circle. I used 3d tape for this.
I used 3d tape to create more dimension in my clusters.I really like the different layers. For the title I used the elegant word ” Lovely” and for the word “memories” I used an alpha set from my own stash. When I’m done decorating I make watercolor splashes on my layout for just a little extra color. The pastel colors of Prima marketing match perfectly with the beautiful collection ” These Days”.

I really wanted to work with these super cute puffy stickers and the shimmering gold hearts. I thought it would be fun to make a wreath and used the golden hearts in the center of these paper flowers.
I first draw a circle with a pencil on my white cardstock background. Then I stamped several times with the Distress Oxide color “evergreen bough”
It’s time to make a wreath and I used the flowers and leaves from the “Floral ephemera” set
I had so much fun with this amazing new collection “These Days” by Cocoa vanilla Studio. I hope I was able to inspire you to use the golden hearts and puffy stickers on your layout.
