Welcome June and hello crafty friends. Today I have another layout created with only papers from the A5 paper pad. I have used Heart & Home collection to create this feminine layout of my daughter an I.
I cut 7 2 inch hexagons using three different designs of the papers from the A5 paper pad. Once I had arranged them in a pattern I liked I adhered to my page but added the top and bottom ones with foam tape to add dimension.
I next added my photos using two of the frames from the ephemera die cut pack. I added these with foam tape to add more dimension to my layout.
On the left side of my photo I added some phrase sentiments using the accessory stickers sheet and then some puffy hearts and circle centres to the flowers.
The photo to the right of my page I tucked a tag and small floral bloom behind it for visual interest.
I created a feature of the bottom hexagon by adding the house die cut and adding floral blooms under the house from the floral die cut pack, and puffy hearts and circles. I used a journalling block to the hexagon next to it and then finished off adding more phrase sentiments. I went back and added a floral bloom to the top left hexagon.
This is a simple layout to put together and using the A5 paper pad makes it super cost effective also!
My layout, using the beautiful Heart & Home collection is about documenting some goals for 2024 (I will add some handwriting to the journal card).
I found this book cut file in the Silhouette Design store and cut it in black for impact. I cut the white cardstock down to 9 inches square and added to the beautiful BountifulPaper. I added black machine stitching to add definition between the floral and white papers. I next added splatters of black paint to the white cardstock to break up the white.
I used the puffy alpha stickers to create my title which I added to the book pages. I used Golden Fields paper to create my layered butterflies. I used foam tape to layer them and used the puffy stickers to add hearts to them. I arranged them so they appear to be flying off the page.
I created a small embellishment cluster at the top left of my page using the die cut ephemera.
I matted my photo on a paper piece from the A5 paper pad and machine stitched a border in black. I added to my page with foam tape and before securing I tucked to the left the journal card ‘the story’ from the die cut ephemera pack. Lastly I added a floral bunch using the flowers from the floral die cut ephemera at the top of my photo and journal card. My photo size is 3×4 inches but you could certainly add a larger photo. I used thee puffy sticker dots for the centre of these flowers.
I created another small embellishment cluster to the bottom right of my photo to balance my layout.
You could add more photos and more journalling using the puffy alpha stickers. You could also paper piece the book if you wanted to add another colour to the layout.
As always thank you for stopping by and happy 2024 to you all!
It’s Tarrah back with you today to share a new layout featuring the gorgeous Heart & Home collection.
The Heart & Home collection is perfect for documenting photos of family. I took this photo of my parents recently at the airport before my Mum was leaving for England. I just love this photo of the 2 of them.
I started with a plain white cardstock background and chose a free quilt design cut file by Paige Evans as one of the features for my layout. I cut the cut file out from the ‘B’ side of the Framed paper and love how the wood grain looks against the white. With the bigger frame piece, I adhered the white cardstock on top of this piece and then machine stitched a border around the outside to add some texture. I then took the A5 paper stack and backed some of the open spaces. I adhered my photo on the right hand side of the page using craft foam and added one of the cardstock frames from the ephemera pack over the photo. I also tucked in one of the florals underneath, I love how you can see the different dimension I created here.
My title is made up of the gorgeous gold foil cardstock titles and I placed the title on the left of the photo using craft foam for dimension too. I layered one of the small phrase pieces from the Gather paper over the top of the title. On the right of the photo, I added more die-cut pieces from the ephemera pack and also added a puffy heart here as well. At the top of the frame I added one of the phrase stickers from Accessory sticker sheetand also placed one of the banner stickers also from the Accessory sticker sheet at the bottom of the photo and layered a puffy heart over top of the heart on the sticker.
Next up it was time to add some more embellishments. I decided to add some of the stickers from the Accessory sticker sheet, adding 2 of the square ones to the square shapes in the cut file. I also added some more of the smaller die-cut pieces from the ephemera pack to some of the open spaces in the cut file as well. Some of them I added craft foam to underneath and some I placed flat on the page. I love the different levels of dimension not to mention the shadows this creates on a project. Lastly I added some more of the super cute puffy hearts and stamped the date stamp of when the photo was taken to finish off the layout.
I love how Cocoa Vanilla collections co-ordinate! It is so easy to create pretty projects with their gorgeous collections, I highly recommend you get the Heart & Home collection for your family memory keeping, it has perfect elements to help capture those all important memories and to tell your stories.

Today I am sharing a mother and daughter layout. In choosing these cooler colours from the Heart & Home collection it gives a totally different feel compared to my previous Fall layouts using this collection.
This delicate and beautiful heart cut file is from the Silhouette Design store. I wanted to add layers instead of simply adding the white cardstock onto the butterfly paper, so I used a scollop square cut file (again from the Silhouette Design store). By doing this I have created four layers including the heart. My measurement for the squares are 12×12, 9×9 and 8×8.
Instead of using the oval die cut floral frame from the die cut ephemera pack, I backed it and created a journal block adding phrase sentiment sticker from the accessory sticker sheet and a die cut banner finished of adding puffy stickers to the centre of the flowers.
I created another embellishment cluster using one of the gorgeous house die cuts as a focal point. I tucked floral die cut ephemera in and under the house with I added with foam tape. I added puffy heart stickers to the house and finished off adding another die cut banner over the house.
I added a 3.5×3.5 inch photo which I matted and added with foam tape. I created a larger floral die cut bunch, tucking the flowers, springs and leaves slightly under my photo. Again I added some puffy stickers to the centres of the larger flowers.
To finish off I created my title Joyful Days using the puffy alphabet stickers following the shape of the heart. I added a die cut phrase sentiment using a shade of darker green which connects my title and sub title.
I have used three papers to create this layout: Fall Beauty, Leaf Litter and Gather.
I hop this layout has inspired you in some way! Thank you so much for stopping by today and see you again soon.
It’s Tarrah back with you and today I am sharing a slightly different project to my normal layouts! I created a heart-shaped door hanging that doubles as a place to add notes and letters using the gorgeous Heart & Home collection. Great idea right?!
I started by having my Silhouette Cameo cut out a heart shape for me from plain white cardstock. I then traced out the shape of various sections of the heart with a variety of the 12′ x 12′ papers including the ‘B’ side of the Framed paper, the ‘B’ side of the Flurry paper and the ‘B’ side of the Harvest paper. Once I had them out all cut out, I machine stitched a border around the outside edge of the entire heart. I did stitch across the 2 pouches horizontally, adding strips of the ‘B’ side of the Gather paper and a strip of vellum. I did only place adhesive on the bottom and the very edges of the pouches to create the openings.
Once the heart and the pouches were constructed, I added a ribbon to the back of the heart and also included a bow at the top. To embellish the door hanging, starting from the top, I added the banner sticker from the Accessory Sticker sheet to the top left corner, adhering it with a staple. I then cut part of the heart strip from the Gather paper and adhered it horizontally, tucking in a tag, I added some twine to the top of the tag, and adhered a phrase banner die-cutwith some craft foam. I also placed a heart puffy sticker on the tag.
For the middle section, I added lots of ephemera pieces, including the house which I adhered using craft foam and added a puffy sticker to the house to act as a door handle and a phrase die-cut across the centre of the house. I also added a round die-cut and added a mini paper clip and I placed another die-cut on the left. I also placed another banner sticker and stapled it to adhere it. On the bottom I placed another house die-cut and the title here which is made up the gold cardstock words. I also did the same to this house as I did to the one above, adding a puffy sticker and phrase die-cut. I adhered all of these using craft foam also.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Cocoa Vanilla blog today! Not all projects have to be layouts! Sometimes it’s good to think outside the box! I hope I have inspired you to pull out your Heart & Home collection and get creative with it!
Hey CVS friends Rachel here! I decided to do a 8.5 x 11 inch layout just to mix things up and today I am sharing another Fall themed layout using Heart & Home collection. I personally prefer Mocha to Lattes but I think you get the idea.
I found this fab cut file from the Silhouette Design store, isn’t the mug just too cute with the dollop of cream on top. I layered my title using the Framed paper woodgrain side and then adding the smaller font using the Golden Fields paper small floral print side. I added with foam tape to create dimension.
I cut the outline of the leaves using the Framed paper and agin woodgrain side. I paper pieced them with this green paper from the A5 paper pad, I save my 12×12 inch papers for larger projects and utilise the A5 size for smaller pieces.
I next created the mug using the woodgrain paper which mimics the colour of coffee (or mocha) and used a bright yellow paper from the A5 pad. I used white cardstock for the dollop of cream on top, I did add some Dimensional Magic gloss but my photos don’t show it well but it certainly created a great effect on the white cardstock. I added to my page with foam tape. To finish off I added a phrase sentiment from the Accessory Sticker sheet and added a small floral bunch from the Die Cut Ephemera pack. You will see here I also added some Puffy stickers to add contrast.
I added my 3×3 inch photo of my daughter with her horse which I matted and then added with foam tape. I tucked under another floral bloom, layering it by adding extra sprigs from the Floral Die Cut Ephemera pack. I used phrase sentiments from the Accessory Sticker sheet and finished off by adding some Puffy Stickers.
I chose to use a dark border to lift my layout and the Flurry paper was perfect!
This is a simple layout you could easily scrap lift. You could also add a larger photo or turn it into a 12×12 inch layout by enlarging the cut files and photo.
Mandy here today to share a new layout featuring the stunningly beautiful Heart & Homecollection. On this layout I documented a couple of photos of my hubby and I that were taken when we visited a winery recently in Mudgee. We had such a lovely time wine tasting and then having a picnic on the grounds of the winery. The colours in the Heart & Home collection complemented my photos beautifully, so it was the perfect choice for scrapbooking these photos.
I started with the Golden Fields and the Fall Beauty patterned papers. I cut them both in half diagonally and then adhered them together to create my background. When creating a background like this, it’s best to make sure that one of the patterned papers has a less busy patterned so that your background doesn’t become too busy and overwhelm your photos. Next I matted my photos with the woodgrain paper from the A5 Paper Stack and adhered them at an angle along the join between the two background papers.
Because the background already added so much interest to the page, I wanted to keep the embellishing fairly simple. I decided on adding two floral clusters which were positioned again along that diagonal to draw the viewer’s eye down the page and through the photos. I used a combination of florals that I fussy cut out of the Bountiful paper, along with Die Cut and Floral Ephemera. I used foam tape to give the clusters some dimension and I avoided adding adhesive to the leaves so that they would lift nicely off the page.
I kept to a warm colour palette on this page, choosing the reds, pinks and oranges, and making sure to repeat these colours in both clusters to keep them looking balanced. By tucking some flowers under the edge of the photo, and adding others on top, it helps to give the cluster some extra dimension and interest. I also finished off both clusters with some Puffy Stickers.
For my title I couldn’t go past using the gorgeous Gold Foil Titles! I chose the phrase ‘Good Times’ and tucked the words in to the right of the photos. There are so many words in the pack, it makes it so easy to add beautiful titles to your pages! And who doesn’t love a touch of gold?!
Thanks so much for joining me here on the blog today! I’ll be back next month with some more inspiration.
It may be spring here in Australia but Heart and Home collection is bring out all my fall feels! I love rainbows and couldn’t resist creating a fall layout with a rainbow.
The fall feel rainbow can be found in the Silhouette Design Store but note I added the row of small fall leaves for more visual interest.
I was able to use papers from the A5 paper pad except the outer rainbow arch which I used the 12×12 inch paper Fall Beauty. The other advantage of using the A5 paper pad papers is that the prints are smaller, so my title is full of leaves whereas if I had used the 12×12 paper you wouldn’t get the smaller detail. I used Framed paper woodgrain side as my border (white cardstock cut at 11 x 11 inches).
I added two square photos at 3.5 x 3.5 and 2.5 x 2.5 inches. I matted them and added with foam tape to create dimension.
I used gold glitter card to create the outline of the large leaf as gold always adds a warmth to a layout.
I used the hearts from the Puffy Stickers to decorate the two smaller rainbow arches.
As the cut file is large I was careful not to over do it with embellishments so it didn’t end up looking too ‘busy’. I added a small floral cluster to the top right of the rainbow slightly behind my photo. I added several of the die cut ephemera leaves and phrase sentiments.
I loved that I could use colour photos of my daughter which catches the colours of fall and adds to the warmth of this layout.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope this inspired you in some way!
Hello Rachel here and today I sharing another Fall themed layout featuring my daughter using the beautiful Heart and Home collection.
I have used several cut files from the Silhouette Design store, butterflies and a fall wreath. You can see the I have covered the flowers and most of the leaves so I could add the Floral Ephemera and add my own layering where needed.
Once I had adhered the wreath cut file I then added the ‘flying butterflies’. I used the A5paper pad to cut the butterflies and the larger ones I cut two so I could layer them up with foam tape. I added the heart Puffy Stickers to create the butterfly body.
I used a 6×4 inch landscape photo, I sadly had to convert it to black and white as my daughters top was purple! I added a thin mat and tucked it under some of the wreath so it looked a part of it. I next added two floral clusters using a mix of the Floral Ephemera and Die Cut pack. I added a sticker from the Accessory Sticker sheet tucking it slightly under the flowers and leaves.
I used larger blooms to cover the cut file flowers at the top of the wreath and layering the flowers, leaves and sprigs with foam tape. I used phrase sentiments to create sub journalling.
You can find this journal block in the die cut ephemera pack, I will go back and add some handwriting later. I finished this off by adding the super cute pumpkin with flowers die cut and another phrase sentiment sticker. The only 12×12 inch papers I used for this layout was Gather and Leaf Litter.
I really wish my daughter had worn a different colour top so I could have added a colour photo, showing the beauty of autumn leaves and colours which I think would give this layout another layer of colour, warmer I think. Anyway next time I will do better with clothing choices and colours!!!!
It’s Tarrah back with you to share a new scrapbook layout featuring the gorgeous new Heart & Home collection! This collection is so gorgeous and perfect for documenting outdoor themed projects as well as thankful, home and Autumn/Fall themed projects! Heck its suitable for any type of project really!
I am documenting a recent photo taken on an adventure with my love. I take photos of us every chance I get!
I started by choosing an Autumn Leaf cut file from CUT to YOU and cut this out from plain white cardstock. I did resize it down slightly and then cut it out. I then adhered the cut file to the yellow/mustard coloured paper from the A5 paper stack. I fussy cut around the edges and then placed it to the side while I created the rest of the layout. I took a plain sheet of white cardstock, as I mostly start with, I took the ‘Flurry paper’ ( I love this paper!!) and tore it in half horizontally. I then adhered this to the top half of the white cardstock, I did leave the adhesive off the bottom in case I decided to tuck anything at the bottom, which I did decide to do. I cut the bottom strip of rainbow diagonal stripes off the bottom of the ‘Gather paper’ and adhered this piece down.
Once the strip was adhered, you can see in the close up photo above that I rolled the edges of the tear part of the ‘Flurry paper’ to add some texture to my page and to reveal the paper on the other side, I love how this paper blends in with the diagonal stripes perfectly. I took the cut file that I finished earlier and using craft foam underneath for dimension, I adhered it overlapping the papers on the page and slightly over to the right hand side to leave some room on the left side for a title and some embellishments. I then placed my photo right on top of the cut file, I love how this adds an extra layer between the background and the photo. On top of the photo I adhered a phrase die-cut piece from the Ephemera pack and tucked in at the top the heart speech bubble die-cut. I cut some of the banner pieces from the ‘Gather paper’ and adhered one on the right hand side, tucked in behind the cut file and the other on the left hand side, underneath the sticker that says, ‘Another Perfect Moment Captured’ from the Accessory Sticker Sheet.
I also adhered the Simple Joys circle die-cut from the Ephemera Pack using craft foam on the right hand side and took a small phrase sticker and placed this above the circle die-cut. My title is one of the gorgeous gold foiled cardstock titles, I chose the word ‘Happy’ and adhered this to the left of my photo using craft foam to add some more dimension. I also added a few more of the small black and white word and phrase stickers from the Accessory Sticker Sheet around my page. I love to add these to my layouts as I do not journal all that much on my pages, adding these helps to tell the story of the photo and capture the moment a bit more. Next I took some of the leaves from the Floral Ephemera pack and tucked in a few of these around the cut file to extend on the cut file and bring the Autumn leaves from the paper above down to the bottom of the layout. I love how these look tucked in all around the cut file.
The Puffy Stickers are just SOOO beautiful so they definitely had to be added to my layout too! I placed most of these down amongst the Autumn Leaf die-cuts, placing some of the circle ones tucked under leaves and the heart ones out for all to see! Lastly stamped the date stamp as I always do and then I added some sprinkles of Gold Heidi Swapp Colour Shine.
I love the detail, the design, the dimension and the collection! It is SO easy to work with and you too can create pretty projects!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Cocoa Vanilla blog today! Make sure to get your hands on the gorgeous Heart & Home collection!
