Happy Days accessory stickers

Hi Everyone, it’s Kel back today to share my next creation with you. I hope you all had a nice relaxing Easter break!

For today’s page, I pulled out one of my favourite collections, Happy Days….I just love the colour palette and icons in this collection. Im documenting a picture of my youngest boy in the swimming pool…here is my page..

I started by using a sunburst stencil with yellow distress oxide, creating a feature on the left side of my page, placing my photo towards the right so the sunburst comes out from behind my photo.

I cut my white cardstock down to 11 inches square and used some black cardstock to create a scalloped border around the edges, then mounted it onto the gorgeous rainbow stripe paper called Sunshine Lollipops.

I mounted my photo multiple times with papers from the A5 paper stack and popped it up on foam tape.

For the embellishments I used a range of different products from the Accessory Sticker Sheet, the Die Cut Ephemera, the cut apart sheets, layering them from the top of the page to the bottom.

For  my title I used the word ‘Happy’ from the Die Cut pack and the word ‘Days’ from the Chipboard Title Stickers, then I added some of the chipboard stars also from the Chipboard Title Stickers.

Hello My Sunshine | Happy Days | Rachel Lowe

Today is throwback Thursday! I have used the bright and beautiful Happy Days collection.

I wanted to scrap this photo of my youngest boy and I and therefore aimed for a colour palette more boy than girl!

I used Definitive paper as my background page and then cut the Rainbow Bright paper  rainbow taking out the pinks. I added machine stitching to add texture to it.

I used two frames from the die cut ephemera pack for my photo, one which I cropped to a close up. I added these with foam tape so I could add elements under the frames. I added flowers from the floral ephemera pack focusing again on blues and yellows to match my rainbow. I then added glossy accents to the centres of the flowers.

I added journalling using the phrase sentiments from the accessory sticker sheet under my photo.

I next created a sky by cutting some clouds and layering them using the paper from the A5 paper stack. I added hearts from the puffy sticker sheet.

I used the curve of the rainbow and added my title using the chipboard title stickers

I added a butterfly and some heart puffy stickers to add more contrast and dimension.

The colours of this layout against a black and white background are so striking, this layout is giving me all the happy vibes!

Gift Bag and Gift Card Holder | Happy Days | Rachel Lowe

Hello CVS friends, Rachel here! So before we start on Christmas creating I have. my mothers birthday in December so I created this gift bag and gift card holder using the beautiful Happy Days collection.

These cut files can be found in the Silhouette Design store. They are easy to put together and are perfect for female gift wrapping.

Starting with the gift bag after cutting the hearts I added machine stitching to add definition and texture. I added each heart layer with foam tape to add more dimension which would also allow me to add embellishments in each layer.

I have used Rainbow Bright, Definitive and Flutterby papers for the bag.

You can see that I added lots of die cuts from the die cut ephemera and floral ephemera pack. I used a wet glue so there was no risk of them falling off. I added HAPPY with foam tape to add more dimension. I added centres to the flowers using the puffy stickers and added some hearts also.

I used the chipboard titles to add ‘Happy Days’ on the handle of the bag and again I used wet glue to ensure they were secure. How cute does it look!

This purse gift card holder goes perfectly with the gift bag and is so easy to put together.

I used Lush Blooms paper and the trim Flutterby paper. I then simply added some florals, enamel dots, a butterfly die cut and chipboard words.

On the inside I used the accessory sticker sheet to add a writing space and word sentiment.

Happy Days collection is perfect to make off the page projects! I love how these turned out.

Cutie Pie | Happy Days Collection | Rachel Lowe

It’s been a while since I have created with Happy Days collection and as I revisited the collection I knew I had to create a layout inspired by the strawberry paper Lush Blooms ,strawberry side!

This fabulous Cutie Pie cut file is from the Silhouette Design store. I didn’t want a stark white background so used the mixed media effect paper Juicy Fruit. To add another layer I cut some hearts and added randomly my page using Definitive paper, I think the dark blue makes a wonderful contrast against the more subtle colours of the layout.

I added my title letters with foam tape so I would be able to tuck elements under and over, it also creates dimension which when using a larger word title is important so your layout does not appear ‘flat’. I added a floral cluster which I tucked under the ‘C’ letter using the floral die cut ephemera. I added die cut ephemera strawberries over the letters.

To the opposite side I created another floral cluster, I added centres to the flowers using the round pieces of the puffy stickers. I added a die cut cloud to the top of my page, adding with foam tape so I could tuck a turquoise puffy heart behind it.

I chose a 3.5×3.5 inch photo which I matted on a paper from the A5 paper pad. I added this with foam tape, and finished of with a tab from the accessory sticker sheet which I added two puffy stickers and a phrase sentiment banner from the die cut pack.

I just love the dark pink/red strawberries and butterfly added on top of the title cut file, it just makes it ‘pop’. I added some finishing touches such as more puffy hearts, a word sentiment and layering the ‘I’ with paper cut hearts.

This layout definitely has a summer feel and this colour combo is a big yes for me. Also perfect colours to make a black and white photo stand out!

Summer Fun | Happy Days collection | Rachel Lowe

Hello CVS friends! Today I have a fun summer themed layout to share. I chose a 8.5 x 11 inch layout as this is the size I always use for my travel layouts. I have of course used the gorgeous Happy Days collection.

I found this summer fun cut file in the Silhouette Design store and cut it to fit my 8.5 x 11 inch layout. I used a turquoise card stock. I used the Feel Good paper, yellow cheque side cutting at 8.5 inches and tearing at 1.5 inches. Before adhering to the top of my page a added a tiny strip of Lush Blooms paper to add a contrast. I next added two die cut ephemera butterflies with foam tape to add dimension and finished off adding a die cut sun which I added two blush pink puffy stickers for the cheeks.

 

I adhered the cut file with a small amount of wet glue. I used the A5 paper stack to create my layered photo frame. My photo is 3.5×3.5 inches.  I set about making this my focal point. To the right I created a floral cluster using the floral ephemera. At the top of my photo I created another embellishment cluster adding die cut strawberries, tab and word sentiment.

To the left of my photo I added a die cut camera with foam tape tucking it slightly under my photo. Tucking elements under and over photos prevents your layout from appearing ‘flat’. I added journalling using the accessory sticker sheet, phrase sentiments on my photo and under it.

 

 

I used some yellow paint and made random splatters over my page (protecting my photo of course!) I added a journalling block to the bottom right of my page and will add details of photo later.

This design could be used for so many different themed layouts! I hope my layout has inspired you in some way and if you have only ever tried a 12×12 inch layout I encourage you to try a different size.

Happy Days | Best Ever Fun Day | Rachel Lowe

I love this photo, its not a visually stunning photo, no amazing scenery or backdrop but it is me with all my children after having a great day today.  I have used the Happy Days collection!

I decided to go with a white background as I knew I was going to used Flutterby paper which is a dark contrast. I cut a seven inch circle in the Flutterby paper. I then cut three hearts in three different sizes and lastly a double bow.

I then used the butterfly side of Flutterby and Little Blossom paper to create the top and bottom paper angled design.

I created an embellishment cluster in the bottom paper pieces using die cuts from the ephemera pack. As you can see I tucked them in and under.

I machine stitched the hearts down the middle to create a 3D heart. I next added my photo which I double matted and used the chipboard title stickers to create my title. I followed the flow of the circle paper and left enough space in between to add chipboard hearts.

I added  small floral cluster using the floral die cuts and finished this area off with a phrase sentiment from the accessory sticker sheet.

Lastly I added my paper bow (I used a cut file from the Silhouette Design store) and added a puffy heart to the centre.

This is a great design for multi photos if you wanted and you get to use many pattern pieces on one layout. My photo is double matted on paper from the A5 paper pad, which means you do not have to cut into 12×12 papers!

Happy Days Collection | Time to Travel | Rachel Lowe

Hello CVS crafty friends, tomorrow I leave for Europe and I am just a little excited. After Australia being locked down for over two years due to COVID this will be out first overseas trip! This inspired my layout, Time to Travel, and Italy is one of our countries we will be visiting. I have used the new and beautiful Happy Days collection.

I chose a 8.5×11 inch layout, as this is the size I always use for my travel layouts. I used Rainbow Bright (reverse side) as my base paper, the coloured tiny hearts perfect as a background paper. I next added two 1 inch strips of Feel Good paper, the yellow plaid adding a bright contrast.

I used a cut file from the Silhouette Design store which is perfect! I cut the title in a pink dot paper from the A5 Paper Pad. I used Definitive paper for the map marker icon. I used Sunshine Lollipops paper to cut the airplanes so they had varying colours showing which stops them looking flat.

I created two floral and embellishment clusters, one next to my photo and the other on the opposite side, I added foam tape to some of the elements to add dimension. I added puffy stickers to some of the flower centres and then hearts around the clusters.

You can see here I used the mini puffy alphabet stickers to add my destination Italy. Here I added floral die cuts over my photos which is a great way to make no people photos a little more eye catching.

I lastly created an embellishment cluster at the bottom right of my page using the fab camera from the die cut ephemera pack and finished off with some phrase sentiments from the accessory sticker sheet and a few more puffy stickers.

So there you have page 1 of 2023 Europe adventure scrapped! You certainly do not need a specific travel themed collection to create travel layouts.

Happy Days Together | Happy Days Collection | Rachel Lowe

I love all the different colours and patterns in the Happy Days collection! I just had to create a layout using the gorgeous Juicy Fruit paper and coordinating embellishments, these colours remind me of summer! I have scrapped two photos of me and my youngest which are some of my fav photos of us.

I used the two gingham papers from the A5 paper stack, and so I only had to use one of the 12×12 papers I cut the large circle in the middle so I could use the rest as a border against the white cardstock. My circles measure 7×7 inches, 4×4 inches and 3×3 inches.

I created my title and sub titles using the puffy alphas, using varying colours of the blues on the sheet. I next added the journal block ‘just peachy’ from the A5 paper stack with foam tape to the top circle.

 

I used this sticker from the Accessory Sticker Sheet so later I could go back and add my own hand writing and date. I don’t usually add a lot of journal spaces or add large titles but this circle design allowed for it to be easily added and look good at the same time.

I next added my photos which I matted using a yellow and aqua colour papers and adhered with foam tape. I created a small floral cluster to the left of the first photo using the Floral Ephemera. I next created another, larger embellishment cluster  the right of my second photo, adding the lemon and peach die cuts from the Die Cut Ephemera and more floral blooms. I layered them and some I used foam tape to add dimension.

To finish off my layout I add a phrase sentiment die cut to my photos, a yellow puffy heart and added a butterfly with phrase sticker, who can resist adding a butterfly somewhere on a layout right!!

This is a ‘busy’ page for me but I loved how this came together! Colour choices can make or break a busy layout, so keeping it to three colours allows you to add lots to your layout without it looking too overwhelming or busy.
