Happy Layout | Legendary | Rachel Lowe
Hey CVS friends today I have a fab boy layout to share using my fav paper from the Legendary collection, Wild One !

I have used a cut file from the Silhouette Design Store (Happy Rainbow). Once I had cut the rainbow I them added machine stitching to each rainbow piece (you could hand stitch this too), I loving adding texture to my layouts and sewing on your layout is a great way to do that.

I then used the reverse of the Wild One paper (yellow and left over after cutting the rainbow) and cut the Happy off set. I cut the actual letters in white cardstock. This is added under the rainbow which I attached with foam tape to create dimension.
I added phrase sentiments from the Accessory Sticker sheet that tied in with my theme and photo. I also added these with foam tape to add even more dimension. I LOVE the Clear Stickers especially the mixed media elements (It saves so much time and mess lol) and I have added a contrasting green and orange paint brush stroke clear sticker under the yellow title.
I next added my photo matting it on Off Beat paper (blue star side) and added with foam tape. I then tucked under Die Cut Ephemera elements. How cute is the geometric bear! I added some more clear stickers and Enamel Dots.
I finished off with a light splatter of black paint on the white cardstock. I love how this turned out and such a sweet photo of my boy and his pup documented!
Thank you for stopping by, if you have any questions about this layout please leave them in the comments and I will get back to you. Have a wonderful week!

Instead of my go to white cardstock I used the beautiful and subtle grey white washed wood grain paper Artisan. I wanted a real pop of colour so used the bright pink paper
I added my photo off centre with foam tape and finished off with a bow from
I have used two different cut files from the Silhouette Design store to create my layered flowers but for those who do not have a cutting machine use a hand punch, punching at least 3 and then layer with foam tape. If you want to recreate these centres, they are super easy! Cut a 12 inch strip at 1/2 an inch. fringe cut with a pair of scissors and then roll as you would any rolled flowers. Once the glue has dried then push outwards all the way around, then glue to the centre of your flowers. I have used
You will see that I then tucked in-between the flowers fussy cut butterflies, some die cut leaves and a sentiment from the accessory stickers.
I then created my title using
I love using word and phrase sentiments from the Accessory Stickers sheets and you can see I added some more under my photo and under my large title.
And there you have it, I love how this turned out! A great colour palette even though I have used several different collections. Don’t be put off because of the flowers on this layout, you can make. beautiful one’s too, time to blow the dust off those punches!
I have used a fun cut file from Silhouette Design store, I chose it so I could use more of the designs on one layout.
I then added my photo and again with foam to create more height. I chose to create an embellishment cluster around my photo, using the
I used the accessory stickers to add my subtitle/journalling.
I have used more foam tape to add die cuts to create more height and added some
I love all these colours together but because I didn’t want my layout to look ‘too’ busy I was careful when it came to my embellishing.

To create my title I used the Super word from the Clear Stickers and adding a blue paint brush stroke clear sticker over it, finished off with a word sentiment from the Accessory Sticker Sheet.

I started with the stunning wood grain Outdoors Type paper to mat the center photo and create a border for the outside. I have three fantastic shots of my son as we walked around the neighborhood pond and just couldn’t narrow it down to a favorite, so I scrapped all three! To leave plenty of room for journaling, I focused on embellishing in just two areas, on a diagonal, and keeping the embellishments tight to the photos. Using a patterned paper background like this one, called Offbeat, gave me a head-start, so the layout came together very quickly!
