I used the beautiful Heart & Home collection again!
I focused on the Leaf Litter patterned paper and fussy cut numerous tiny leaves.
I centered my black and white photo on a thick white cardstock, added a few layers of patterned papers from the A5 paper Stack, tissue paper and foam adhesive.
I created a big floral cluster on the lower right corner of the photo (Floral Ephemera pack), and scattered the beautiful fussy cut leaves on the upper left corner of the photo to create a diagonal design.
I placed a die cut on the photo as my title, with the name of my dog (Mini Puffy Alphabet) and a few handwritten words about how cute she looks!
Here are more close-ups:
I love the result and hope you like it too!
The layout is very easy to scraplift so don’t hesitate to give it a try!!
Hi Friends, welcome back to the Cocoa Vanilla blog, it’s Kel here today to share a layout using the new ‘Heart and Home’ collection. My page is documenting a family photo from Xmas 2022. Here is a look…
My photo is a landscape design so I started with adding some patterned paper strips behind my photo. I offset the papers and cut them at different sizes to add some interest and also distressed them to add some texture.
After placing my photo on the page, I decided I wanted to use the ‘Family’ letters found in the die cut ephemera pack as my title. I used foam dimension to make them pop and also outlined them with a black pen…this really helps them stand out! Under my title I used some of the word phrases from the die cut ephemera pack..
Next I placed some of the floral die cuts to the bottom left and top right of my photo. I added some hand stitching to them to add texture…
Above my photo I added a word sentiment from the die cut ephemera pack and cut some of the cute little houses from the ‘Gather’ paper..
I decided I wanted to add a bit more colour to my white cardstock so I added some hearts using distress oxides and a stencil, again outlining them with a black marker..
To finish my page I added some heart puffy stickers around my page and added some fine gold splatters.
I hope you enjoyed my page and you found some inspiration today…til next time!
Hey y’all! I’m back again with the stunning Heart & Home collection to scrap these two photos of my brick. This is my mark on the university I attended and I am so grateful that I had this opportunity to return to school and finish my degree. To celebrate, I’m scrapping this moment with these rich colors from Heart & Home!
For this layout, I created a fairly simple vertical background and layered my two 3×4″ landscape photos on top of each other with clusters of florals from the icon ephemera packs tucked into the corners. With a lovely gold die cut title and these tiny fussy cut florals, I gave the page a beautifully detailed finish!
Adding in Nuvo drops was how I gave this simple vertical time to shine. Using white Nuvo on top of the woodgrain paper that edges the background gives it a purpose. The outlining of those strips makes them pop even more!
I hope this layout inspires you to find new ways to add details that give your layout a polished finish. To see how the ‘Thankful’ layout came together, check out the process video below:
Welcome everyone! It’s Anna here with another project made with brand new “Heart & Home” collection. With it’s wonderful, warm colors I am always tempted to create fall projects, one after another. However, this time I scrapbooked few spring photos from our trip to amusement park. It was still a little bit cold so our clothes doesn’t incline what season it was. Amusement parks is something we all love – both me and hubby and kids. We love all the rides, atmosphere of joy and crazyness. We always have such a good family time there, filled with lof of amazing memories. But let’s be honest – who doesn’t like fun packed day like this?
And where is fun – there is a mamarazzi! I took a lot of photos from our trip and printed few of them for this page. I only picked the ones with us in the picture. Each photo was then framed with a little frame cut out from “Framed” pattern paper. I also used another sheet for my background, using the B side with wooden pattern.
My ideas on how to arrange those frames changed few times while making this page. Final version required some sort of round frame around them. I was too lazy to pull our my digital die cutting machine so I used calipers to draw a circle. I also sketched some sort of wonky scallop around it, making my own round frame with yellow pattern paper called “Gather”.
My frame also became an anchor for the title. It’s a mix of word “family” taken from Die Cut Ephemera Pack and tiny letters from Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers. I also added a lot of flowers from Floral Ephemera Pack, but I took some time to cut out the white outlines around them. They contrasted too much with the dark wooden background and I didn’t want to draw attention away from the photos.
Inside of the round frame was already filled with photos, so it didn’t need much of embellishing. I only added few flowers and bits and pieces from Die Cut Ephemera, with matching inscriptions. I finished my design my adding few Puffy Stickes in a shape of hearts here and there and white slpatters. Easy – peasy!
That’s is all for today! I hope you find my layout inspiring! Thank you so much for spending your time with me and sticking to the end. See you soon in two weeks. I still do not know what I will create but I am sure I will use this amazing collection!
Welcome to a world of creativity and memories as we explore the wonderful “Heart and Home” collection designed by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. In this scrapbook blog, we’ll take a look of my layout that’s all about gratitude. We’ll talk about how we added a touch of playfulness to our frames using floss and sequins, created a beautiful flower and branch cluster as the center of attention and I used a golden ephemera word for our title, and scattered some charming butterflies around the flower cluster.
Cocoa Vanilla’s “Heart and Home” is a gorgeous collection. It comes in beautiful colors and designs that make you feel warm and cozy, just like home. Whether you’re scrapbooking family moments or everyday joys, this collection is perfect for capturing those precious memories.
My layout has a unique twist when it comes to frames. Instead of regular frames, we decided to get playful by adding floss and sequins to them. It’s a bit unconventional, but it makes our photos stand out and gives them a bit of extra sparkle. These playful touches make my memories even more special.
I absolutely love the big cluster of flowers and branches. It’s like a little garden right on this page! This eye-catching arrangement is the center of attention, and it represents the beauty and growth that comes from being thankful. We used different sizes, colors, and textures of flowers to make it look really interesting and three-dimensional.
To add a bit of fun and whimsy, I cut out some butterflies from the patterned paper and scattered them around our flower cluster. Butterflies are a symbol of transformation and freedom, and they remind us of the joy that comes from gratitude. They’re like little sparks of happiness on our page!
Scrapbooking is all about capturing moments and telling stories, and my layout does just that with the help of Cocoa Vanilla’s “Heart and Home” collection. I’ve shown you how I added playful frames, a beautiful flower cluster, a shiny golden title, and some whimsical butterflies to make my memories even more special.
I hope this layout inspires you to get creative and have fun with your scrapbooking projects. Remember, each page is a piece of your heart and a story worth telling.
It’s Sophie on the blog with a new layout to share!
I used the beautiful Heart & Home collection again!
I started with a white background and placed two patterned papers; a wood grain and a soft pink polka dot (both come from the A5 Paper stack) in the center of the page, stitching them down on the cardstock. I centered a photo on the polka dot paper, added tissue paper and adhesive foam to make it stand out a little bit more.
I fussy cut numerous florals from the 12×12 “Bountiful” paper and placed them around the photo.
I wrote down my journaling on a beautiful frame, used the Heart & Home Gold Foil Words for my title and scattered plenty of cute fussy cut butterflies flying around the page.
Finally, I tied everything together with a huge bow created from ribbon in my stash.

I love the result! Just can’t get enough of this wonderful collection!
Hello Everyone, it’s Kel here today to share my first layout for the month of October….how this year is flying by!!
For today’s page I’m using Heart and Home and I decided to focus on the cooler tones…here is a look…
To start my page, I made some origami hearts (found a simple tutorial on Youtube) and to add more detail I added some hand stitching …they turned out really cute ! I used them as a feature across the bottom of my page.
I am documenting two pics of my youngest boy from many years ago…he was such a sweet baby. I placed my two photos to the top left of my page and placed paper strips under my photos to ground them to my page. To the top of my photos I added a tab and word phrase sticker from the Accessory Sticker Sheet.
I used the paper ‘Fall Beauty’ to fussy cut a bunch of the butterflies and placed them diagonally from the bottom and right side of the page so they flow up to my photos and draw attention to them. I also stitched some trails behind the butterflies.
Next I added some florals on both sides of my photos and these also have stitching added to them.
Lastly I added my title using a mix of the Puffy Mini Alpha Stickers and a Title with Gold Foil.
I hope you have been inspired today and are having lots of fun with the new Heart and Home collection.
Hey y’all, Laura Alberts back again with a fun spin on a grid layout. For these four 3×4 inch photos from a camping trip, I puzzled the pictures together with ephemera and cut apart pieces to create a collage in the center of my page. The border around the outside gives the collage a little bit of structure and helps it feel cohesive.
In blank spots that were a little too narrow for additional embellishments, I added a row of chain-stitching with ombre embroidery floss that coordinated with the Heart & Home collection. These sweet puffy heart stickers were the perfect accent for this banner piece!
The floral ephemera pack is always one of my favorite parts of a new collection and these darling flowers had to make an appearance on my layout too! The hand-stitched elements work beautifully with the cross-stitch designs on the cut aparts that I used for titles.
I hope this layout inspires you to try a new design with multiple photos! If you’d like to see how “Family” came together, check out the process video below.
Hello everyone. It’s Anna here with my newest layout, made with brand new “Heart & Home” collection. I am a big fan of fall projects and this line is just perfect for making one (or two :) ). Autumn is just starting to appear this year and leaves are still green but I had a perfect picture from my last year walk in the forest. Sun was low and it was shining through the leaves and tree trunks creating beautiful halo and rays. It looked so magical, like straight from the fairy tale. I snapped few photos enjoying this little wonder of nature.
I knew I wanted to use many pattern papers in this project making die cut leaves. I chose nine different patterns in brown, red-ish, orange, yello and green colors. Some of them are 12*12 papers like “Bountiful”, “Leaf litter”, “Fall beauty” and “Gather” and some are from A5 Paper Stack.
After cutting leaves I added some Distress Oxide inks on the white backgroud creating strips of color, that blend together. It’s a sort of fall halfrainbow. With the background done, I could add leaves using color on color technique. I only applied glue in the middle, and run through the rows with sewing machine and white thread. This way I was sure my leaves will stay in place.
My title is a mix of Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers and letters from word “family”, you can find in Ephemera Pack. I used original F, A and L letters and created second L using first one as a stencil.
At this point my layout was already colorful and full of texture so I only added few embellishments. I searched through Ephemera Pack to fing all the fall related elements and placed them color on color, highlighting the stripes. I found mugs, some leaves and few inscriptions. I also reached for 6*12 Accesory Stickers to embellish area around the photo.
Final step was adding tiny, cute Puffy Stickers, also using color on color technique. Creating this page was so much fun and a perfect combination of mixed media products and paper embellishments. My favourite kind of layout.
That is all for today! Thank you so much for spending your precious time with me. See you in October!
Hi everyone, this is Niki (@nikiclairecreates) here today with a new layout and video. Do you like layers on your scrapbook layouts? On this layout I have used lots of different patterns from the Heart & Home A5 Paper stack to cut lots of hearts in different sizes. I love doing this as it means I get to use lots of patterns on one page!
I started off by cutting multiple hearts – I did this using metal nesting dies and my Big Shot. I then spent some time layering the hearts together, I also distressed the edges of each one before sticking them together. I arranged the hearts down the right side of my layout, on the edge of a large square of the Fall Beauty patterned paper, pink heart side. Once I was happy with the positioning of the hearts, I stuck them to the pink square and then trimmed around them. I added the pink square and layered hearts to a white piece of card for my background. I then added some machine stitching: through the middle of all the hearts and around the edge of the pink square.
I then added my photo, which I framed using a piece of Die Cut Ephemera and I also added a title using one of the Gold Titles ‘celebrate’ because in the photo we were out for my daughter’s birthday.
I kept the rest of the layout embellishments fairly simple as I didn’t want to overpower the stacked design so I just added a few pieces of Floral Ephemera, a few phrases from the Die Cut Ephemera and a few Puffy Hearts. I finished off with a few splatters of gold paint.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing this layout, have a happy scrappy day! My process video is below if you would like to watch how it came together!
