The best | Unforgettable collection | Raquel Bowman

Hey everyone, it’s Raquel here sharing a bit of a flashback to the Unforgettable collection with you today.

Here is the layout that I created:

The subject of my layout today is my ‘baby’ girl – who turned 9 earlier this month. I do not know how this is possible that I have a nine year old in my household. Boy time just flies doesn’t it?

I have not played with this collection in a while and had minimal supplies left. I was excited though to find a whole pack of ephemera so I was able to add and embellish as much as I wanted with no limitations to my floral choices. To frame my photo I used one of my fave script prints in this collection and added tags and circular frames from the ephemera collection. I add a crochet thread to the tags to tie a bow- this thread is subtle and thin and adds a cute touch to the page.

I used a variety of floral pieces to embellish to either side of the photo. Using differing foam adhesive tapes create a dimensional effect – I did this in the clusters to either side.

The title of the page is from foam stickers. What better sentiment than this. I’m sure my Charlotte will agree! I think we counted down to her birthday for an odd 30 days. The level of excitement was high.

To journal as always I have added my typewritten strips to document this moment and milestone.

To finish the page I have framed it on the gorgeous signature floral paper of the collection and machine stitched the edge. I also added those final finishing touches of a scattering of enamel dots.

I can hardly believe I am documenting this moment of my baby girls life!

Lovely Memories | Josefine vd Hoeven | These days collection

Hello Paperlovers, It’s Josefine here back with you today I made a new 12×12 layout with the gorgeous collection “These Days” by Coco Vanilla.This collection is great for documenting fall related photos but also offers the opportunity to capture everyday life such as summer, family, parties or romantic getaways. I love these beautiful pastel shades and give my layouts a warm feeling.

For this layout, I wanted to capture a photo of me and my husband. We were invited to the king’s ball. The beautiful collection ” These Days” fits perfectly with the beautiful romantic pastel shades. First, I used black thread to sew a circle on the white cardstock background.Then I used a circle confetti punch from “EK Success” to punch out several circles from the pretty pink dots design paper and taped them into the circle. I used 3d tape for this.

I trim three strips of designer paper to size and stitch them through the middle with black thread. Then I placed these strips right through the circle. I mounted the picture with different design papers and placed it in the center of the layout. I cut some flowers from the design paper and choose different flower die-cuts for decoration of the layout. On the left side of the picture I make a big cluster of flowers, butterflies, wooden buttons and die-cuts.

I used 3d tape to create more dimension in my clusters.I really like the different layers. For the title I used the elegant word ” Lovely” and for the word “memories” I used an alpha set from my own stash.When I’m done decorating I make watercolor splashes on my layout for just a little extra color. The pastel colors of Prima marketing match perfectly with the beautiful collection ” These Days”.

Everyday Stories | Unforgettable collection | Tarrah McLean

Hi creative friends,

It’s Tarrah back with you today to share a new layout focusing on an ‘Everyday’ theme and featuring the gorgeous Unforgettable collection!

When I think of ‘Everyday’ I think of myself with my immediate family – my husband and our 2 sons. It’s not often we get photos together so I take the opportunity when I can! I took a piece of the teal and white stripe paper and trimmed it to measure 8′ x 12′ I then cut it to measure 4′ x 12′ and then cut this into 3 pieces to measure 3′ x 4′ rectangles.

I bent the edges of each piece and adhered them in the centre of the small text patterned paper. I trimmed the small text paper down so that I could mat a pink piece of 12′ x 12′ paper behind the entire layout. I adhered my photo slightly to the left of the layout and in the centre.

On the right of the photo, I added the Everyday sticker from the accessory sticker sheet popping it up using foam dots for dimension. The sticker formed the first part of my page title, the second part of my title is the word ‘Stories’ from the Foam Title Stickers that I placed under my photo. Also on the right I tucked in some floral ephemera, a foam black heart and a die-cut heart and an enamel dot.

On the left I tucked in more ephemera including the camera, some tickets and some more enamel dots. I also added one of the gorgeous flair buttons here too. Lastly I added a few small things including some phrase stickers, dropped a few sprinkles of mist and stamped the date stamp.

Love This | Unforgettable Collection | Melissa Vining

Hello everyone! It’s Melissa here and I’m thrilled to be back with a layout I created for Throwback Thursday!  I always love when its my turn to use an older collection, and today I decided to go back to 2019 when life was what we considered normal! I created my layout with the beautiful Unforgettable collection, and I specifically wanted to challenge myself to use a cut apart patterned paper as a full sheet.  The paper I chose to use is ‘Pretty Bits’ and ordinarily I would cut this paper up to use as layers, or use it to back a cut file.  The photos are of my youngest daughter Ava with a friend who my little girls consider to be their older sister!

I used black embroidery thread to stitch between the lines of the different papers and I love how it created a pocket page look, but without the pockets.

I decided to place my two photos on two patterns that were small and repeating.  I used papers from the ‘6×8 Inch Paper Stack’ and distressed the edges.  I also cut out some of the smaller cut aparts from the paper stack because the smaller size was perfect to use as embellishments for my page.

The top left hand part of the paper had a very subtle black floral on white which was perfect for my title.  I used several of the ‘Clear Stickers’ and even layered them to create a mixed media look.  I created my title from two of the ‘Foam Title Stickers’ and placed them directly on top of the clear stickers.  I love how this turned out, and I added a fussy cut butterfly.

For my journalling I used a circular frame from the ‘Die Cut Ephemera’ pack and I glued it onto the striped side of ‘Sprightly’ so that I could use the lines for my hand writing.  I embellished with a ticket from the Die Cut Ephemera, a ‘Flair Button’ and another fussy cut butterfly.

The bottom left had side part of the paper had 4 larger butterflies printed on it.  I fussy cut the same butterflies from another piece of the same paper, and then adhered them by glueing the centres and lifting up the wings and adding dimension.  I also added lots of subtle shimmer to the butteries, and several other features on the layout.

I hope I’ve inspired you to use a cut apart as a whole entire sheet.
