Sophie is a French-Canadian girl, who hails from beautiful Quebec, where she lives with her husband, son and daughter. She works full-time as an endocrinologist in a busy Montreal hospital. Sophie began scrapbooking over 15 years ago and still loves patterned paper and embellishments (especially flowers!) She enjoys creating large clusters and layering on her pages, and also playing with colours to create mixed media backgrounds.

Hello friends!

It’s Sophie on the blog today with a new page to share!

I am all in the Christmas fever this time of year and used the beautiful Joyful collection for my Christmassy layout!

I teared two big pieces of patterned papers from the collection and placed them on the top of a thick white cardstock.

I layered tissue paper, adhesive foam and another patterned paper behind my photo and placed it a little bit off centered to the right.

I built a beautiful cluster of embellishments from the Ephemera pack and some fussy cut florals, as well as a few sticker phrases on the bottom right of the photo.

My title is made out of the Puffy Title Sticker sheet.

Finally, I fussy cut stars out of patterned papers and scattered them around my title and photo.

Hello friends!

It’s Sophie on the blog today with a mood board inspired layout!

Have you seen the November challenge? Niki Rowland designed a gorgeous mood board named “Grateful” this month. Here it is:

I used the These Days collection for my page, and was inspired by the warm orange and yellow tones of the board, the beautiful flowers on the left lower image, the sewing on the top right image and the heartfelt love on the top left image.

The photo of my two fur babies on a crisp sunny morning is so precious and was the perfect photo to illustrate the theme of the board.

I centered it on a 12×12 white cardstock, added two strips of patterned paper on the top and bottom parts of the layout and handstitched two horizontal lines with green thread.

I selected two pocket cards, added stitches to them and placed them on each side of the photo for my subtitle and journaling.

My title comes from the Foam Title Stickers from the collection.

I added embellishments from the Ephemera pack, the floral die cuts pack, a few phrase stickers and two fussy cut butterflies.

Hello friends!

It’s Sophie on the blog today with this new layout!

I used the beautiful Heart & Home collection again!

I wanted to focus on the beautiful frames from the “Framed” patterned paper. I fussy cut a few of them and centered them under a beautiful and sweet photo of my two doggies cuddling and sleeping together!

I machine stitched around the frames and used them to add subtitles and a little bit of handwritten journaling.

I placed a strip of the “Fall Beauty” patterned paper at the bottom of the layout and tucked a few framed under it. I also added many fussy cut leaves and flowers to embellish around the frames, with two bigger floral clusters around my photo.

The GORGEOUS heart & Home Gold Foil words made the perfect title for my page.

Hello friends!

It’s Sophie here with a new layout to share!

I used the beautiful Heart & Home collection again!

I focused on the Leaf Litter patterned paper and fussy cut numerous tiny leaves.

I centered my black and white photo on a thick white cardstock, added a few layers of patterned papers from the A5 paper Stack, tissue paper and foam adhesive.

I created a big floral cluster on the lower right corner of the photo (Floral Ephemera pack), and scattered the beautiful fussy cut leaves on the upper left corner of the photo to create a diagonal design.

I placed a die cut on the photo as my title, with the name of my dog (Mini Puffy Alphabet) and a few handwritten words about how cute she looks!

Hello friends!

It’s Sophie on the blog with a new layout to share!

I used the beautiful Heart & Home collection again!

I started with a white background and placed two patterned papers; a wood grain and a soft pink polka dot (both come from the A5 Paper stack) in the center of the page, stitching them down on the cardstock. I centered a photo on the polka dot paper, added tissue paper and adhesive foam to make it stand out a little bit more.

I fussy cut numerous florals from the 12×12 “Bountiful” paper and placed them around the photo.

I wrote down my journaling on a beautiful frame, used the Heart & Home Gold Foil Words for my title and scattered plenty of cute fussy cut butterflies flying around the page.

Finally, I tied everything together with a huge bow created from ribbon in my stash.

Hello friends !

I have a new layout to share today created with the lovely Heart & Home collection !

I based my design on a black and white photo of my daughter Sabrina walking on a bridge this summer. I “continued” the road with white Cardstock and added a yellow border with the “Gather” patterned paper. I hand stitched on the papers with matching thread, and placed everything on the beautiful “Leaf Litter” green paper.

I cut the page into a 11 inches square and mounted it with adhesive foam on a 12×12 white cardstock on which I scored a few lines, as shown in a close-up here:

I decorated around the photo along the road with Die Cuts from the Die Cut Ephemera pack and fussy cut flowers and leaves out of patterned papers.

My title is a little banner from the Die Cut Ephemera pack. I drew, cut and stitched little clouds around the photo as the finishing touch, and handwrote my journaling with a brown pen.

This is a very different design for me but I am so happy of how it turned out !

Hello Cocoa Vanilla friends !

Sophie here and I am so excited to share my very first page created with the brand new Heart & Home collection !

OMG where to start ?! I guess you know the feeling when you have a new collection that you absolutely LOVE ? You want to use all the things…and hoard them at the same time ..?!!?

The first paper that caught my attention was the «Gather» paper. I cut out the little labels on it and aligned them vertically on the right side of a thick white cardstock.

I went for a beautiful black and white photo of my daughter Sabrina that I backed with tissue paper, adhesive foam and the «Fall Beauty» paper. I placed it on the left side of the layout, as she is looking towards the right, at the labels.

I used words from the «Titles with Gold Foil» pack for my title. I embellished the layout with a big floral cluster that is a mix of the Floral Ephemera pack, and flowers fussy cut out of the Floral A5 Paper Stack paper and the «Bountiful» patterned paper.

The date on one of the labels was done with the mini puffy alpha stickers.

HAPPY DAYS | HAPPY DAYS COLLECTION | SOPHIE DELORME

Hello friends!

It’s Sophie with you today and I have a colorful layout to share!

I used the Happy Days collection and decided to go bold on colors!!

I used a 11×12 inches thick white cardstock that I placed on the Sunshine Lollipops paper.

I played with three Distress Oxide inks and water to create a mixed media background, in a heart-liked shape.

I centered two sweet photos of my daughter, mounted on tissue paper and foam adhesive and on the Juicy Fruit paper, and placed everything on my colorful background.

I decorated around my photo with beautiful florals from the Happy Das floral Ephemera pack in a rainbow manner, starting with the purples on the left, and pinks, oranges and yellows towards the right.

I also added a few butterflies and puffy stickers.

My title is a mix of a die cut (word “Happy”) and letters from the Chipboard Titles pack that I painted with the same inks as my background.

MY SUNSHINE | HAPPY DAYS COLLECTION | SOPHIE DELORME

Hello friends!

It’s Sophie on the blog today with a new layout to share!

I used the Happy Days collection for this page. I had a photo of my daughter on the lake and had the idea to cut a few wave shaped borders out of patterned papers and arranged them at the bottom of a 11×11 inches white frame to create movement and fun waves.

I placed the frame on a 12×12 white cardstock.

I mounted my photo on tissue paper and adhesive foam, and embellished around it with beautiful flowers from the Happy Days Floral Ephemera pack.

I used the Happy Days Chipboard Titles for my title and added a subtitle cut out of a patterned paper.

I handwrote my journaling directly on the white cardstock, added a few embellishments at the top of the photo and stamped the date.

So Happy | Legendary collection | Sophie Delorme

Hello friends!

It’s Sophie on the blog today for Throwback Thursday and I am bringing back the stunning « Legendary » collection !

I thought this collection was absolutely perfect to document a recent visit to our new cottage in the woods !

I teared a few patterned papers from the collection and placed them in a horizontal line on a thick white cardstock.

I mounted my photo on tissue paper, adhesive foam and a few layers of patterned papers and placed it on the right side of the layout. I cut a piece of the Epic Tales paper to write down my journaling and added my title (I used the Die Cut Titles pack) just above it.

I cut a few leaves with metal dies from my stash and created two leaf clusters to decorate the page. I also added many die cuts in different shapes , labels and stickers from the Legendary Sticker sheet, as well as a few enamel dots to complete the page.
