Wild Child | No Limits Collection | Kylie Kingham.

Hello there and welcome back to the Cocoa Vanilla blog. It’s Kylie with you all today and I am sharing a very fun yet simple layout I created recently with the new, outstanding ‘No Limits’ collection. My assignment for today was to feature the Wooden Epoxy Buttons and the Chipboard stickers. (Two of my very favourite products…..Who am I kidding, I love it all!)

Since I hadn’t yet worked with the 3″x 4″ pocket cards, I wanted to create a fun banner effect with them. I selected 5 of my favourite designs from the pack, trimmed a small amount from the width of each before cutting a peak into each. Next I cut a 3″x 12″ strip of the UNIVERSAL paper and adhered it just below the centre of the LATITUDE paper. I was able to then tuck each banner below this strip and overlapping each other just a little.

From the ORBIT paper I trimmed a 1.75″x 12″ strip and adhered it over the UNIVERSAL paper. On the reverse of the UNIVERSAL paper was some really cool cut away pieces. I chose a polka dot strip to add over the top, adding another element of layering to my page. It was above this decorative border I decided to add a large title from the CHIPBOARD stickers. To compliment the title I came in and adhered some of the WOODEN EXPOXY BUTTONS as well as some of the typed phrases from the sticker sheet. I think the dimension and colour of the these buttons help to draw your eye to the title of the page.

My photo capturing a fun memory at the park was kept to its full 6″x 4″ size and I trimmed a photo mat for it measuring 6.25″x 4.25″. This gives a lovely neat edged border. I adhered it next to my large title and finished the page with more of the chipboard sticker stars. I spread these out a little to keep a nice even balance for my page. Some extra decorative strips from the UNIVERSAL paper were added along the top of the page as an extra burst of colour.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my latest layout today, until next time,

Kylie.
