Life is Good | Sunkissed Collection | Danni Visser

Hi Cocoa Vanilla Studio fans! Danni here with another page in my family summer holiday album using the fabulous new Sunkissed collection. This week I was challenged to make a project featuring stickers, so I decided to use as many as possible!

My first step was to take a sheet of A4 white cardstock and prep it for some hand stitching. I love a sunburst pattern, so I pierced stitching holes in lines radiating out from the point where I planned to position my photo. I used a white embroidery thread to stitch a simple backstitch along each line, subtly separating my page into wedge-shapes sections.

I went straight to the clear stickers because they look amazingly vibrant on plain white cardstock. I took the Life is Good title from the clear stickers and placed that in one of the wedges. Next, I filled up two of the wedge sections with the floral and icon clear stickers, making sure to space them as evenly as possible.

The next two wedge sections I filled up with Summer Lights and Good Vibrations 12×12 patterned papers, cutting them to size and distressing the edges for texture. I did the same thing for the next wedge, this time using the rainbow spotty design paper from the A5 paper stack.

I love the bright colours and patterns in the 3×4 pocket cards, so the next wedge I filled with one of these cut down to size. I think this was meant to be a journaling spot, but I just loved the bright sun and the rich blues so I just had to use it as a patterned paper.

The final wedge I filled up with tiny phrase stickers from the accessory stickers, lining them up and stacking them in repeating rows. I love these little phrases and the summery sentiments were perfect to use on this holiday page. I matted my photo using the pretty blue daisy print from the A5 paper stack and positioned it at the centre of the sunburst pattern.

I added some extra puffy stickers around my title and a banner sticker from the accessory stickers on top of my photo. To finish off the layout I used a bright aqua hybrid ink to colour the outer edge of the page and add an extra pop of colour.

I just love this bright layout! It was a great way to use lots of stickers and the sunburst pattern made it very easy to put together once the initial design was laid out. I hope you enjoyed joining me today.

Happy scrapping!
