Hey y’all! Laura Alberts here again with a beautiful winter layout using the stunning, classic Love Always collection. I especially love the florals in this collection! They are so pretty and soft, perfect for a pastel layout like this one.
I started this layout with chipboard frames and a number of stunning patterned papers to back them with. The title is a cut-apart piece that I layered a frame on top of and decorated with Nuvo drops in gold. I outlined each of the frames with a black gel pen to give them a little depth with a faux shadow.
Next, I backed my photos with a beautiful bold pink from the Unforgettable collection to help them stand out. Layering the photos on top of the frames, then adding embellishment clusters on top of the photos, it gives the layout a 3D look without much bulk.

Hi everyone, it’s Sue Plumb here with another design team project for you. Today I am sharing a mixed media layout that has been inspired by this month’s “Seeing Stars” challenge. As an avid boy scrapper, stars are one of my absolute favourite things to put on my pages, so I couldn’t help myself but join in on the fun. The first thing I did was choose which collection I was going to work with, and I couldn’t go past the ‘No Limits’ collection, which is filled with all kinds of celestial themed elements. I paired it with a photo of my son at soccer, who was definitely a star on this particular day.
I began this layout with a sheet of white cardstock and a piece of the star print Orbit patterned paper that I had left over from another project. As it wasn’t a whole sheet, I decided to tear along the edges of it and have it run vertically on my page. Before sticking it down, I used a pencil to mark out where the paper would sit, then turned my attention to the background.
I wanted to add a splash of colour first, so I used my Mowed Lawn green Distress Oxide to add some loose watercolour underneath where the paper would sit. Once dry, I used some star-themed rubber stamps from my stash to add extra detail over the top. I used a large star first, which I stamped three times to form a triangle; then a background stamp featuring tiny stars to scatter around. I then stuck the starry patterned paper down on top.
With the large piece of paper in place, my background was complete, so I turned my attention to the photo and embellishments. I cut a mat for my photo using a green sheet from the A5 Paper Stack and secured it to the page. I topped it with a grey paper doily, frayed gauze, and then my photo which had some cardboard underneath to help pop it up from the page.
I then added my embellishments, focusing on creating three clusters – above, to the left and to the bottom right of the photo. On the left side I used the you’re the best banner from the Die Cut Ephemera pack. I also added the hand from the same pack, and placed it directly onto the photo. I finished off this cluster with a couple of stars nearby, that were fussy cut from the Nebula paper.
To the right of my photo I created another embellishment cluster, this time using a handmade heart embellishment from my stash, which I topped with a CVS limited edition flair button (from many moons ago). Both of these embellishments were to tie in with the print on my son’s t-shirt. As with the previous cluster, I also added some fussy cut stars nearby. I balanced the stars out by adding a couple more above the photo as well as my third “cluster”.
There were only a few elements left to complete at this point – my title, using the Die Cut Title words alongside the photo. A few more small stars from the Puffy Sticker pack and some small word stickers from the Accessory Sticker sheet. And finally, my handwritten journalling and I was done!

I used the Sunkissed collection, and focussed on the beautiful rainbow paper named “Bright Side” as the star of my page.
I selected matching colour embroidery floss for each ray of the rainbow and added hand stitching on them. I fussy cut around the rainbow, added foam dots on its back and placed it on the right side of a 12×12 thick white cardstock.
I chose a beautiful summer photo and arranged a big floral cluster around it, adding a few more little rainbows, leaves, and the date.
My title is from the Sunkissed Clear Stickers sheet.

I was inspired by this months Floral Frenzy Challenge to create something with one of my most loved embellishments – Flowers, which reminded me of a layout I made a few years back. Lets take a peek shall we…
A layout full of colour and florals to celebrate this sweet kids 12th birthday back in 2022, when things were all sunshine and rainbows and we could get a smile out of her for a photo of 2 lol I used a bunch of florals from the Floralephemera pack, some fussy cut mini florals from the A5paperstack version of Lush Blooms and a handful of other fun ephemera embellishments to bring it all together.
I added the photos printed in black & white 3inch square size to some of the fun aqua Little Blossom paper layered with some of the brilliant blue floral Definitive paper
Here’s a look back at the original layout, full of florals in all shapes sizes and colours.
I replicated the same floral framing in both the top left and bottom right corners of the layout using a mix of flowers. These can be found in the FloralEphemera pack and the A5paper version of LushBlooms. I mixed in some ephemera pieces, enameldots, butterflies and accessory stickers using a mix of different adhesives for layering heights of dimension.
I added chipboard stars from the Titlestickerspack from the collection and some minipuffyalphas to the journal spot on the bottom cluster to create 1 of 2 titles on the layout. Yep you read that right, 2 titles. Is that even a thing?
The larger title on the layout consists of words from the ChipboardTitleStickers pack, a banner cut from an ephemera piece and some accessory word stickers. The perfect combination for a mixed font title.
Once I had all the pieces adhered in place I splattered the entire floral clusters with gold ink, added some extra gold glitter paint dots to fill in some gaps and called it done.

Hi everyone, it’s Sue Plumb here to share another design team project with you. Today I am sharing a mixed media layout featuring the ‘Heart & Home’ collection. Inspired by this month’s “Flower Frenzy” challenge, I decided to document this family photo I took while we were out celebrating an early Mother’s Day lunch. (Family photos with all of us in them are rare, as I am usually the one behind the camera – I am sure many of you can relate!)
I began this layout with a sheet of white cardstock, which I cut down to measure 11×11″, and then backed with the sweet Leaf Litter paper to form a border. I then used pale pink Distress Oxide ink mixed with a little water to create a watercolour paint, which I brushed vertically onto the top half of the page using a wide brush. I then chose a yellow acrylic paint and applied it vertically to the bottom half of the page using a small brayer. This gave me a two-toned background that coordinated perfectly with the colours of the collection.
Now it was time for some paper! I chose a mix of patterned papers, including Fall Beauty, Harvest, and a couple of designs from the A5 Paper Stack to create layers in the central area of my page. I used a mix of both cut and torn edges for contrasting textures, and also added some frayed gauze and a paper doily. My photo was then mounted on top with a little cardboard behind it to help pop it up from the page.
I stuck a couple of stickers from the Accessory Sticker sheet directly onto my photo, then turned my attention to the journalling. I cut a journal card from the Gathercut apart paper, then popped it into my typewriter. (I find the easiest way to do this is to use some washi tape to tack it to a larger piece of paper or card, so it doesn’t get lost in the roller.) I then tucked my journal card under the edge of photo and added a handmade heart embellishment on top.
Then it was time for some flowers! I used a combination of fussy cut pieces from the Bountiful paper, and others from the Floral Ephemera pack to build my clusters. I used my tried and true method of creating a visual triangle around my photo to help me decide placement which in this case was top left / centre right / middle bottom. You can see how this frames naturally around the focal point of my page (my photo). I layered the floral pieces, bending up the leaves to create dimension off the page.
I finished my page with a Gold Foil Title in the lower right corner; some stamped words and the date; and tiny gold ink splatters scattered around. Love how this one came together!

Hello crafty Friends! It’s Anna here with my layout inspired with MAY CHALLENGE. The topic for this month is FLOWER FRENZY and I think I did it a justice.
I made a page filled with flowers and almost nothing else. Go bold or go home right? It was such an easy job with Floral Ephemera products and almost each Cocoa Vanilla collection has them!
I actually combined two of my favourite things – flowers and rainbows. I just arranged the flowers in particular order creating horizontal stripes of color. As you can see, this background required a lot of flowers so I combined Floral Ephemera packs from both HAPPY DAYS and SUNKISSED collections. They both share similar, juicy color palette so flowers match together perfectly.
I started with shite cardstock and just added flowers in two layers. Some of them are glued down directly to the background and some with one layer of foam. Next step was to add extra leaves and flower buds. I didn’t have enough of single leaves to I just cut branches into smaller pieces.
After the background was done, I added my photo and title created with Chipboard Title Srickers. Each letter is a separate sticker so you can also treat those words as a source of letters and create new words with them.
I finished my project by adding tiny Puffy Stickers in a shape of hearts and few words from 6*12 Accessory Stickers. Flowers did the whole work here so I didn’t need much of an embellishing.
How do you like my idea for a custom made background? it will be a perfect idea to use up the leftovers from older collections too. You can also fussy cut flowers from 12*12 papers. Almost each CVS collection has one, that is perfect for this purpose!

Hey y’all! Laura Alberts back again and I’m dipping into an OLD collection from 2016! After organizing my craft space, I found this collection and just had to dive in! It’s such a stunning mix of pastels and gray tones that were perfect for these first snow pictures. The title ephemera is from Midnight, but the rest is all from Love Always.
I started with this beautiful mixed media-style background paper, a strip of teal, then used ephemera pieces to create a border in between. The Nuvo drops and ephemera hearts along the right side gave this layout a fun pop of interest that it needed.
I cut out two tags from the patterned paper and layered them behind my photos, then built up two clusters that run diagonally through the photos. The cluster on the top leans to the right and the one on the bottom leans to the left. This guides the eye through the layout, and added to the butterflies, creates a sense of movement on the page.

It’s Tarrah back with you and today I am sharing a new layout created using the awesome Great Escape collection! I can not get enough of this collection! I think this is my 6th layout using this awesome collection and I still have heaps of ideas flowing! Talk about value for money! I pulled out a super cute photo of my youngest son from when he was about 3 going for a ride in the car, I just love the thumbs up gesture- so cute!
I chose to work with a darker background paper choosing the ‘Journey’ patterned paper for this layout. I knew I was going to be adding the white cut file title and I really wanted that to pop off the page. The cut file I chose is from CUT to YOU, I cut out the title in white and cut out the road in black and backed it with some white cardstock to make it resemble a road as close as possible! For the large open letters in the cut file I took the A5 paper stack and choose various papers to add in the open holes. Once the cut file was all backed, I adhered the road down first using regular adhesive and then for the title, I added craft foam and then adhered it down in the centre of the page, I love adding craft foam so that it creates some dimension on my layout, this also allows me to tuck in bits and pieces where I want to if I feel some places need extra detail.
I added my photo on the right side, tucking it in behind the ‘D’ in Road I would normally layer a paper or a die-cut underneath my photo but this time I left it free of these. Once I was happy with the photo placement and the title it was time for my favourite part and that is embellishing! Below the photo I added a chipboard piece and I also added the flag chipboard piece overlapping the road and coming out of the ‘A’ in Road. The So Much Fun chipboardpiece I added on top of the cut file and also added some of the phrase stickers from the Accessory sticker sheet to help tell my story.
I took a few die-cuts from the ephemera pack and also added these around my page too, I love finding the perfect piece that is the perfect shape or perfect colour to fit in spots! One of the many things I love to do when I create! I like to balance my pages and describe my style is very clean but colourful too!
Some of the smaller embellishments like the puffy shapes were some of the last things I added to my page, along with stamping the date stamp which is one of my go to things on every page! Do you have something you like to include on every project? Kind of like a signature? Lastly I trimmed down the ‘Journey’ patterned paper to roughly 11′ x 11′ and matted the entire layout on white cardstock. I then machine-stitched a border using black thread around the entire edge of the layout.

The challenge this month is called “Flower Frenzy”: Using flowers as the main design element of a layout… The more the better…!
I used the Sunkissed collection for this colorful page and went with big floral clusters all around my black and white photo.
I drew a few flowers on three A5 patterned papers, cut them out and hand stitched on each petal. They served as a background for the flowers and leaves that are from the Sunkissed floral ephemera pack.It adds texture and depth to the clusters, and even though it’s very bold and colorful, it doesn’t compete with the black and white photo, that still stays the star of the page.
I teared a big chunk of the “Feelin’ Fine” paper and placed it on the upper part of the layout. I fussy cut a few clouds out of the “Just Chillin’” paper and used some Clear Stickers for my title.

Welcome everyone. It’s Anna here with another page made with newest Cocoa Vanilla collection called “The great escape”. To be honest, I am more beach girl and trails, tents and campfires are not my first choice when it comes to spending free time. I do not have many photos from the wild to scrapbook with this line but it doesn’t stop me! Having fun has many shades. This time I picked two photos taken during one of the rides in theme park. Colors on them match “The great escape” perfectly.
For this page I created a little scene with a guidepost. I was inspired by one of the ephemera pieces to make one. I started with splashing white cardstock with light blue mist. Next step was to create a ground for my sighpost using two papers with green patterns: “Journey” and “Direction“.
Wooden pattern on the sighpost is from the older “No limits” collection. Yellow one is a piece of “Horizon” paper and orange one is “Happy camper” paper. Words on the sigh are made with alpha die and “Starry night” pattern. White “sky” felt very empty so I added few whimsical clouds hand cut from “Adventurer” paper.
It was time to add photos. I backed each of them with a piece of blue pattern paper from A5 Paper Stack. As usual, I embelished the area around the photos using bits and pieces from Ephemera Pack, elements cut out from “Wild life” paper and stickers from Accessory Stickers sheet.
As always I finished my pages adding tiny Puffy Stickers. They are my favourite final accent.
How do you like my idea for a simple, handmade scene? You can change things up by adding more words to the pole, changing theme from landscape to beach or a city. It’s a really versatile type of design.
