SWEET HEART | Sophie Delorme | Storyteller collection

Sophie back with you on the blog today with a new layout to share!

 

I used the Storyteller collection for my page.

I cut a thick white cardstock 9,5 x 12 inches and backed it with the beautiful «Oh My Heart» 12×12 paper and added two strips of the «Story Time» paper. I machine stitched on each lateral side of the white cardstock.

I picked a beautiful big photo of our new puppy Farine, resting outside under the sun, mounted it on tissue paper and foam adhesive, and centered it on the upper portion of the page.

 

I cut a navy-blue rectangle out of the Storyteller A5 Paper Stack and placed it centered on the lower part of the page. I added two layers of patterned paper as well and ruffled up their edges.

 

I created a colored rectangle on Word and selected the white color for my journaling. I printed it on white cardstock, cut it into strips and placed the strips on the lower rectangle with foam adhesive.

 

My title is from the gorgeous Foam Title Stickers.

I embellished my page by creating two floral clusters on the right upper corner of the photo and left lower corner of journaling rectangle. I used the Floral Ephemera pack, the Die Cut Ephemera pack, a few Wood Epoxy Buttons and Puffy Stickers, all from the Storyteller collection.

This layout is really easy to scraplift. It’s a great way to use many patterned papers (there are 5 different ones on this page!) without making the page look too busy. And what do you think of those journaling strips ? Isn’t it cool to write in white on a coloured rectangle ? The possibilities are endless !!
