Oh little you | Daydream Collection | Anna Blades
Hello CVS friends! It’s Anna here with you. I’m so happy to be back on the blog, sharing my first layout using the amazing new Daydream collection. I love the soft color scheme of this collection, all the flowers, and the cute rainbows. Zoe has nailed it!
For this baby themed page, I went for a vertical design. I cut a 6 inches wide strip of the Sun Shower paper and glued it onto white cardstock. Using the B side of the same paper I add two strips on each side. Also, with a doily lace border punch, I made two more strips from the B side of the Garden Variety paper. I love how it looks!
I place the picture in the middle of the page, and I created two clusters in opposite corners of it. On the upper left corner, I stacked some flowers from the Die cut ephemera pack, some raised with foam dots. From the ephemera too, I glued this rainbow circle die cut, and a blue butterfly (or whatever that insect is called).
The first part of my title is also in this cluster. I took some words from the Die cut titles to build the title ” Oh, little you”. For the second cluster, I did the same, to give symmetry to the design. But this time, I added a flair button and a fabric puffy heart. These fabric hearts are so lovely and I love the texture that they add to the page. I backed my photo with the Happy Place paper from the 6×8 paper stack and tissue paper.
It was so fun to play with this collection. It’s so versatile, and it could be used for any occasion. And, as always, floral designs are really amazing. I can’t wait to share with you more projects using Daydream! You can find more inspiration here on the blog every day, and in our Facebook community group HERE.
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great week!
