New glasses | No limits Layout | Anna Komenda

Hello everyone. It’s Anna here with another layout. This time it won’t be anything christmas related (I already put “Joyful” collection away). I reached for “No limits” collection to scrapbook fresh photo of my hubby, who recently got glasses. It’s a semi new look for him as he didn’t wear ones for years. And as a good family paparazzi, I snapped photo of him. Now it’s time to scrapbook it!

As I mentioned, I reached for a masculine “No limits” collection. This line is full of pretty patterns in many saturated colors and fun textures. I started with choosing quite solid, teal blue background paper. Next step was to cut the big glasses and part of the title – word “trending” – using my digital die cutting machine. Glasses are made with black cardstock and big word is cut with orange pattern paper called “Spark”.

After adding photo, I embellished the area around it with some ephemera pieces from Ephemera Pack and some stickers from 12*6 Sticker Sheet.

This line doesn’t come with seperate alpha stickers, but I reached for the Word Phrases Pack and hand cut separate letters. This is a fun trick to use up as many elements from the pack as possible. I was never able to finish the whole pack with so many phrases to choose from.

Last step was to add some smaller elements here and there, including small “planets” from Chipboard Stickers pack and some Wood Epoxy Buttons. I also splashed everything with black ink almost ruining the finished page. My bottle of ink is almost empty so I tilted it to the side to reach the bottom easier. I overdid it, spilling a big blob of ink onto my orange title. After a moment of panic, I figured out that I can cut only letter R from the same orange paper and glue it down on top of the blob. You can still see some ink under the letter but it doesn’t catch the eye so much. Layout saved!

That is all for today my Friends. Thank you so much for stopping by and see you soon!

XO Anna
