Welcome to the blog today, Friends!
Lina here and sharing a layout I created using the wonderful and timeless, Wild at Heart collection. If my memory serves me correctly, it was the very first collection that was sent to me by Zoe, years ago when I originally started on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio team and still remains one of my favourites to this day. If you’d like to watch the process on YouTube, click HERE to be taken to the CVS channel 🙂

I began with that lovely blue and aqua watercolour ombre piece of cardstock named Mariposa and layered a white piece of cardstock matted with the blue and white floral vellum on an angle onto it. I trimmed the excess papers and am left with a background that’s slightly skewed and on an angle. Just love the whimsy of it!

My challenge this week was to use multiple photos and thought it was a great opportunity to use photos from just this past Mother’s Day of myself and my girls. The photos roughly measure 3 1/4 inches each and I matted them with papers from the collection. Next, I took frames from the Chipboard Frame package and used them to create a loose grid.

Now the fun… I used all the embellishments! Using the Die Cut Ephemera I added bits and pieces to create balance and adorn the page with goodies from the collection. I also used pieces from Accessory Stickers for the phrases, Chipboard Stickers for my title, a Flair Button, and lastly what I was most excited about, the Rubber Charms. They really added the final touches to the layout.
Lastly to round out the layout, I used some gold thread and metallic gold paint and added splatters.

Thank you for joining me today on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog, YouTube channel and social media, This layout was a bunch of fun to create!
