Funny Kid | No Limits Collection | Kylie Kingham.
Hello Cocoa Vanilla fans! It’s Kylie back with you all and today I am sharing another layout I created with the new ‘NO LIMITS’ collection. I really love working with background cut files. They are a great way of adding lots of colour to a layout…..And you all know how much I LOVE colour! A star background cut file designed by ‘Confessions Of A Paper Addict’ was used as a centrepiece in my background, kind of giving the illusion of it being framed.
My most favourite paper in this collection is the SPARK paper. I love the tone of orange and the gentle splashes of paint that feature in each corner. I used this as my main background page, cutting away the centre so to conserve paper. I trimmed a sheet of the ORBIT paper to measure 10″x 10″ and adhered it centred on the SPARK paper. To cut out my cut file, I first resized it to 9.5″x 9.5″ square, that way it would allow a nice even border of ORBIT paper showing. I used the A5 paper stack to back my cut file, and once all the stars were filled in I backed the entire cut file with the UNIVERSAL paper.
My photo was printed to a smaller size, so that I didn’t cover over too much of the star background. Rather than mat my photo I used two of the 3″x 4″ journal cards to stack/layer behind. It was then adhered to my background using foam adhesive squares. I layered a few of the die cut elements as well.
To complete my page I created a suitable title for my photo from the title die cut pack. There are always so many options in these packs! I decided to go with ‘FUNNY KID’ which just suited the theme of this page so well. I also added a few of the typed sub-title phrase stickers from the sticker sheet, layered over the top of my photo.
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today, I hope you have enjoyed seeing my layout and it gives you a little inspiration for your own scrapbooking.
Until next time,
Kylie.
