Hello Cocoa Vanilla friends and Happy Easter!

Sophie here with a new layout and I am sharing a layout inspired by the lovely Mood Board this month!

 

I used the Happiness collection and bits and pieces from the digital Hello Lovely collection as well!

 

The beautiful wreath in the center of the mood board caught my eye instantly and was the starting point for my page.

I found a wreath on the silhouette store designed by Nic Squirrell. I backed it with patterned papers from both collections, and applied white gesso lightly on some of the cherries to soften them a little bit.

The leaves are backed with a A5 patterned paper from the Happiness collection.

Before adhering the wreath to the white background, I played with Shimmerz products and Distress Oxide inks to create a simple mixed media in the same color scheme of the wreath. I also added foam adhesive behind the wreath.

 

I printed a photo of the tiny paws of our puppy on the very first day we got her a few weeks ago. I think they are just adorable and remind me of a cute little bunny, perfect for Easter!!

 

I used the name of the digital collection for my title, and embellished the page with die cuts and fussy cut butterflies from the Happiness collection.

I added a few white Nuvo Drops around the wreath as the finishing touch.

I love it when I create a layout based on a mood board. Although it can take any direction, the inspiration at first never disappoints!

Hello Lovely | Hello Lovely digital collection | Sophie Delorme

Hello Cocoa Vanilla friends !

 

It’s Sophie with you today and a Throwback Thursday layout !

 

I used the Digital Hello Lovely collection that you can find here in the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Shop.

 

 

Everything you see on this page comes from the digital kit that I printed at home with my Ink Jet printer. Let’s guide you through my process:

 

I started with a thick white cardstock as my base and created a simple mixed media background with some Lindy’s Stamp Gang magical powders diluted with water. I also added splatters of color with my brush.

 

I used a cut file from the JustNick Studio store and backed it with some Hello Lovely patterned papers. I also added a little bit of watercolor paint on the leaves and flowers to give them more depth and interest.

 

 

I mounted the cut file on adhesive foam and placed it on the lower half of the page.

 

I printed a beautiful photo of my little Sabrina in black and white, added tissue paper and arranged it a bit crooked above the cut file.

 

I fussy cut the title, banner and ephemeras from the printed digital collection and made sure to pop them with adhesive foam for more dimension before placing them on my layout.

 

 

I also added fussy cut beautiful florals that I added on top of the cut file.

 

I teared a big chunk of the polka dot paper to place on the bottom of the page, adding to it a fussy cut scalloped border, different words and a label on which I stamped the date.

 

 

Finally, I handwrote my journaling with a fine tip black pen directly on my background and scattered a few white Nuvo Drops as the finishing touch.

Celebrate 12 | Mixed Collections Layout | Anna Komenda

Hello Cocoa Vanilla Studio fans. It’s time to wrap up this year with my final project for 2020. December in our family is full of reasons to celebrate as 4 of us have birthday in this month. Add Christmas to this and we basically party all the December weekends. The youngest of us, born in December, is my older daughter Gabrysia. She is teenager already and few weeks ago she turned 12. We had modest party with no guests due to Covid, but we decorated the living room as always (mama needs those cute photos to scrapbook!). I took one of her pictures to make this colorful, yet simple page.

I decided to dig in my CVS stash and pull some random, party related items, like very old wood veneers, elements from bits and pieces bags, buttons and fabric bows. I just love creating this way, with no limitation of what I can use and with whole rainbow of possibilities.

I started with printing my photo on A4 size paper (the biggest my printer can print) and cut it into a circle. Such a colorful photo doesn’t need much of embellishing so I only picked a paper for the background with soft, pink stripes. It’s from this old collection called “Love always“. I also used a piece of wooden paper from “Hello lovely” to make a frame around the photo.

I found some wood veneers from birthday themed line “Make a wish”. It was a perfect opportunity to finally use them. I also added few stickers and ephemera pieces from the same line. I almost managed to use every bit of this collection. Puffy flamingo comes with “Endless summer” collection and paper tassels are from “Unforgettable“. My title is quite simple as I only added number 12 cut out from a silver mirror cardstock. I used small star punch to make smaller, silver stars and scaterred them around the photo.

I love how simple yet eye-catching this page is. Sometimes less is more! And I am always so happy when i have a chance to use up older things from my stash. I feel I gave them second chance and nothing goes to waste.

With this party page I wanted to wish you all Happy New Year. Let’s hope for better one as this girl really craves for some travelling and teaching classed! See you in 2021 Friends.

Hello crafty friends !

It’s Sophie here ! It’s Throwback Thursday today and I am sharing a beautiful fall layout created with a mix of two digital collections: Hello Lovely and Life is Beautiful.

I started my layout with thick white cardstock and cut my title directly on it with my cutting machine. It is a cut file from Justnick Studio.

Then, I backed the title with cardstock and different patterned papers from both collections. With a fine brush, I added a little bit of matching water-colour to the letters to create more depth. I LOVE the effect !

I also created a subtle mixed media background with water-colours where I planned to put my photo.

This photo of my sweet Sabrina was taken a few weeks ago when we went for a walk nearby our home. The fall colors where just breathtaking beautiful !

I fussy cut plenty of leaves and flowers mainly from the Life is Beautiful collection and created a floral cluster on the lower right of the photo. I put adhesive foam on the majority of the embellishments to add interest and dimension.

I also cut a banner “You make me so happy” and a few hearts that I put around my title.

Finally, I hand wrote my journaling directly on the background and stamped the date.

A big title like this is a very easy way to get started on your design ! Here are more close-ups:

Adorable You | Hello Lovey Collection | Anna Blades

Hi friends!!

Anna here today with you sharing a new layout. Have you ever used a digital kit? I must say that it’s my first time, and I’m so happy with the result. On this page, I’m featuring the Hello Lovely collection that you can find on the Digital Products section from the shop.

I have a standard A4 printer, so for my background, I decided to use two 12×12 patterned papers from the More than words collection. I used the Precious paper and backed it with the Gossamer paper. I think both go very well with the Hello Lovely collection.

The focal point of my layout is this cut file from Paige Taylor Evans. I think it describes perfectly the look of my youngest daughter in the pictures. I cut it from white cardstock and placed the photos behind the letters “O”.

Instead of backing all the letters, what I did methenolone enanthate primobolan depot was use the inner part of the letters as a template. I draw them on the patterned paper that I printed and fussy cut them. I raised the cut file with foam dots, but I glued the inner part of the letters to the background.

In the digital collection bundle, you can find printable element sheets. They’re so easy to cut, and I used them to embellish my page. I also die cut a couple of white bows with my Big Shot.
