Captured | Unforgettable Collection | Kylie Kingham.

Hello friends! It’s  Kylie back with you today and I am SO excited to be sharing my latest layout featuring the brand new ‘Unforgettable’ collection. I am so in love with this latest range with its pretty colour palette and various paper designs. Like all Cocoa Vanilla collections it is so easy to create with and my layout today features lots of textured paper overlays and paper flowers, YAY! (I know….. it’s Kylie…..so no surprises there!)

I selected the papers STORYTELLER and NATURAL BEAUTY for my background. The polka dots of STORYTELLER jumped out at me right away and I love the wood grain print of NATURAL BEAUTY.I tore a generous strip of NATURAL BEAUTY and adhered it down to the top portion of my page, distressing the edges a little for texture. I also added a small strip to the top and bottom of it using SPRIGHTLY. I thought the watercolour floral print was perfect for my floral theme. Before I started adding anything else to my page I used some gold paint from my stash to add some splatters to the background.

I have used the flower cut file many times before. It is a firm favourite of mine designed by Paige Evans. All of the 5 layered flowers were cut from the UNSCRIPTED,SPRIGHTLY and LACEWING papers.I curled the edges up a little as I glued each layer down and finished each of them centred with some of the enamel dots. The leaves were cut from the GARLAND paper.

I wanted the flowers to look like they were flowing across the diagonal of my page so I adhered my photo in place and then added the flowers with glue in alternating colours and sizes. All whilst trying to maintain an even balance.

I usually always add in the leaves last. They are great for poking into any open gaps on your page and again for maintaining balance around the photo.I also used some of the leaf die cuts with the green ones I had cut earlier. I layered some cotton from my craft stash underneath some of the Butterfly die cuts as well. This just added a lovely extra texture to my overall completed layout.

My title was selected from the foam title stickers. I really loved the boldness of the black on my background page. The cute pink bow from the embellishment pack was far too cute not to use also!

I also added some sub titles from the stickers and die cuts.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have enjoyed seeing my latest layout.

Until next time,

Kylie xo
