RAD BOY | Bea Valint | YOU ROCK

Hello Everyone! BEA here with you today to share a new layout using the cool YOU ROCK collection. Ever since I received the box with this collection I’ve been thinking of masculine layouts… I never knew that layouts with boys could be so fun to create! I’ve got tons of photo of my three sons, so I just had to dive into my drawer and pull out a photo I took some month ago.

I started my layout with stitching triangles on a white card stock with sewing machine. First I drew the lines with pencil, and after stitching I just rub out the lines. I cut triangles from different patterned paper and adhered them to the background. I decided to trim two edges of the card stock and layer two different patterned paper behind. This gave a playful mood for my layout.

Once this was done I placed my son’s photo close to the right edge and started to embellish my page. I used some pieces from almost every embellishment types of this collection, stickers, card stock stickers, wood veneers, enamel shapes, flair button, and some pieces of the cut-apart sheet. They are so perfect together!

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy my layout and find inspiration for creating masculine layouts using your Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection!!

About the Author:

Bea hails from Hungary, a little country in middle Europe…where they have pretty hot summers, spicy foods, and a difficult history. Formerly an economist, she is now a stay-at-home-working-mum to 4 adorable kids - three sporty boys and a 6 year old girl, Kitti. Bea has always been a creative person. She never stops making home decorations, papercrafts and DIY projects. Bea says happiness ebbs and flows through our lives; and she wants to document all the unforgettable moments of joy so that she can relive those precious moments from time to time. When it comes to scrapbooking, Bea started off learning photography and creating Project Life albums for her family, and finally fell in love with creating layouts in early 2012. Bea says what she loves most about scrapbooking is "the freedom to express myself. And making mini books or scrapbook pages is also really fun, don't you think?" She says her craft room is always open. She creates things together with her kids, and sometimes with friends, but never with her husband...he just enjoys the results.
