Hi friends!

Elodie here today with a brand new layout to share with you! This week, we’re focusing on pink and blue with projects showcasing one of these colors. For my page, I went with pink using the beautiful Bohemian Dream collection and a photo of my girls snapped during our trip around Ireland last August. Here is my pretty in pink layout!

I started by going through my Bohemian Dream stash and picked pink papers and embellies that I could use on my page. For the background, I went with the Boho Bits and Dreamer papers. I cut a strip in the Boho Bits sheet and placed it at the top of the beautiful Dreamer paper, covering the purple part to focus on the pink.

I wanted to go for a simple design, with a lot of white – or actually pink – space and I decided to create a cluster at the top of the page where the two background papers meet.

I went with black and white for the photo to keep the focus on pink. I adhered it at the top of the page with foam squares. I love how it stands out against the pink background!

For the title, I used chipboard words that I spiced up with the ‘love’ sentiment from the Bohemian Dream stamp set and cute enamel hearts. I layered them on die cuts and on a lovely flower from the vellum accent pack.

Next, I tucked a tab sticker, a frame from the ephemera pack and pretty cardstock and vellum flowers under the pic. I also added chipboard stickers, beautiful vellum butterflies, a couple of word stickers, a banner from the ephemera pack as well as pretty flourishes from the chipboard title sticker sheet and my page was complete!

I loved putting this layout together using my favorite color and I really like how the black and white items pop against the gorgeous Bohemian Dream pink tones! I hope this page inspires you to give monochromatic projects a try and have fun with CVS supplies! Thank you for visiting the blog today! Wishing you a lovely day and a great weekend ahead!

Hello Cards | Bohemian Dream | Elodie Lusseau

By | 2017-10-26T03:40:17+00:00 November 3rd, 2017|Bohemian Dream, Design Team, Inspiration|

Happy Friday, everyone!

It’s Elodie back with you today to share my latest CVS project. I’ve been playing again with the gorgeous Bohemian Dream collection and, this time, I made a set of cards. I can’t get enough of these dreamy colors and patterns. So beautiful!

For the base, I picked two colorful papers from the 6×6 pad and folded them in half. Did I mention that I was super excited about the Bohemian Dream 6×6 paper pad?! It’s just perfect for card making!

Next, I moved on to my favorite part: making yummy layers! I cut rectangles in two other 6×6 papers, handstitched the borders using white thread for added texture and detail and I placed them on the top of my cards.

I also added some super pretty embellies from the range: die cuts, chipboard stickers, vellum accents and word stickers from the accessory sticker sheet. These vellum accents have me swooning: I just love the soft and delicate touch they bring!

For the sentiments, I used a chipboard word combined with the ‘hello’ stamp on one card and a cute banner from the ephemera pack on the other one. I put the finishing touch to my cards with blue and purple enamel shapes.

This collection is simply amazing and I hope these cards inspire you to create with it! It is now available in the CVS online store. Thank you so much for visiting the blog today! Have an awesome day!

Unique | Bohemian Dream | Elodie Lusseau

By | 2017-10-09T23:33:08+00:00 October 17th, 2017|Bohemian Dream, Design Team, Inspiration|

Happy Tuesday, friends!

Elodie here and I’m happy to be back to share a new layout with you today. This week, we are putting the spotlight on the new and stunning Bohemian Dream collection, its paper pad, chipboard titles and pretty stamp set. I was inspired by the gorgeous colors and cute bird icons and I combined it with a colorful pic of my little one posing in front of a mural in Derry, Ireland.

I am a big fan of 6×6 pads and I use them a lot on my projects. So I was super excited about the Bohemian Dream paper pad! I wanted to use it to create my background and I started by picking a couple of 6×6 papers that would go with my photo.

I cut five frames in several 6×6 papers and cut four of them in half so as to get eight triangles. I folded the edges a little bit for dimension and placed them on the borders of the Kaleidoscope paper that I picked for the background.

Next, I adhered the last frame and the matted photo in the center of the page with foam squares. I love how all the pretty colors pop against the gray background!

For the title, I used a pretty chipboard word on which I stamped the ‘hello you’ and ‘love’ sentiments from the Bohemian Dream stamp set with black and gray ink. Stamps are such a great way to add fun details to a project!

I also spiced up the title with cute enamel dots from the range and placed it right under the photo.

The Bohemian Dream line is packed with gorgeous embellishments and I had a lot to choose from when came the embellishing part! As I didn’t want to cover up my background design too much, I made a cluster around the photo using die cuts, vellum accents and cute birds from the chipboard sticker sheet. Finally, I added a couple of word stickers at the bottom and at the top of the page to complete the title.

I am so in love with this amazing collection and I can’t wait to play with it again. The paper pad, the chipboard titles and the stamps are awesome new items and I hope my page inspires you to get your hands on them! Thanks so much for joining me today! Have a great day!

You | You Rock | Elodie Lusseau

By | 2017-09-27T19:00:49+00:00 October 3rd, 2017|Design Team, Inspiration, You ROCK|

Hi everyone!

Elodie here today with a new layout using the fabulous You Rock collection. I have so much fun playing with this masculine line and combining it with photos of my girls! This time, I put the spotlight on my oldest daughter with a pic snapped during our trip to Ireland last August.

To go with my photo, I went with gray for the background and backed a piece of the In Line paper with the Stripped sheet. Next, I cut strips in the Galactic, In Line and This Way papers and placed them at the bottom of the page.

I matted the photo using the Random sheet and adhered it in the center of the page with foam squares. For the title, I went with handcut letters. I drew them in the same papers I used for the strips and cut them using my craft scissors. I then placed each letter on the corresponding strip and adorned them with chipboard and accessory stickers. I really like this tone on tone effect!

I then got busy embellishing the top of the page with the same colors I used at the bottom. I layered pretty stars from the Starshine paper and spiced them up with die cuts, a rubber charm, a chipboard accent sticker, a flair button and cute enamel shapes. I love how the bright colors stand out against the gray background!

I also wanted to use some word stickers from the accessory stickers sheet and decided to place them around the In Line paper just like a frame. Loving the dimension and the fun touch they bring to the page!

At that point, I felt like my layout needed a little something more and I decided to add a pop of red. As I went through my You Rock stash, I came across the cute washi stickers and tucked two red strips under the photo. Just what I needed! I adorned the pic with a couple of wood veneer shapes and my page was complete!

There are so many fun ways to use this awesome line and I hope my layout inspires you to get creative with it! Thank you for joining me today! Wishing you a lovely day!

Love You | Wild at Heart | Elodie Lusseau

By | 2017-09-13T00:06:54+00:00 September 17th, 2017|Design Team, Inspiration, Wild at Heart|

Happy Sunday, friends!

It’s Elodie here today and I’m happy to be back with you to share a new page for stickers week! This time, I used the beautiful Wild at Heart collection, including chipboard and accessory stickers, along with a photo of my oldest daughter snapped in Turin, during our road trip around northern Italy last spring.

As I had no precise idea or design in mind, I started by gathering supplies that I wanted to use and that would go with my pic. The gorgeous Luscious and Grow Wild papers would be great for the background and I just had to include fussy cut flowers from the Memento sheet!

After a little brainstorming session, I decided to go for a circular design. I drew a circle on the top right-hand corner of the Luscious paper, poked holes with a pin following the pencil lines, erased them and stitched along using white thread. I then cut off a part of the Luscious sheet and backed it with the Grow Wild paper.

Next, I matted the photo with a card from the Patchwork cut apart sheet and sticked it in the center of the stitched circle with foam squares. I framed it with a couple of fussy cut flowers from the Memento paper and chipboard frames, including one from the chipboard stickers sheet. The Wild at Heart color palette is just perfect for this lovely photo of my girl!

For the title, I used chipboard alphabet stickers that I placed on the stitched circle. I love how soft these pink on pink letters look! I then added more Wild at Heart stickers to embellish my page. I adorned the pic with a tab and a pennant from the accessory stickers sheet and I placed chipboard hearts and word stickers on the frames. I also added chipboard butterflies on the fussy cut flowers and tucked a label sticker with the date under the photo.

I felt like my layout needed a little something more and I decided to use the scraps from the Luscious sheet I used for the background. I cut the corner I had left in half, folded the edges a little bit and placed it on the page with the floral pattern facing up. Last but not least, I added a bit of shine to my layout with a couple of Wild at Heart enamel dots. These sparkly cuties are the perfect finishing touch!

I hope my page inspires you to play with CVS stickers. Accessory, alphabet, chipboard or washi stickers: there’s a lot to choose from and have fun with! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Wishing you a lovely day and a great week ahead!

You Rock, Girl | You Rock | Elodie Lusseau

By | 2017-08-16T21:01:07+00:00 September 3rd, 2017|Design Team, Inspiration, You ROCK|

Hi friends!

It’s Elodie here today with a girly page using the fantastic You Rock collection and a cool photo of my little one snapped in Verona last spring. Isn’t she rad?!

To echo the brick wall on the pic, I decided to go for a color blocking design using the super cute You Rock washi tape stickers that I placed on a white cardstock sheet. I matted the photo with the Stripped paper and adhered it on the right hand side of my washi wall with foam squares to make it pop.

I backed the white cardstock with the Plus One sheet and its pretty wood grain. I love how it nicely frames the page and gives it more warmth!

For the title, I used one of the awesome wood veneer words along with alphabet stickers from the Hello Lovely collection and I placed them near the photo. I even found a way to use the “That’s my boy” rubber charm by crossing out the word “boy” with an enamel shape!

My next step was to embellish the page with pretty You Rock goodies: wood veneer and paper stars, a lovely flair button and die cuts from the ephemera pack. I also adorned the photo with paper corners and a wood veneer pennant.

I then stamped the date on a tab from the accessory stickers sheet, tucked it under the pic and I finished off my layout with droplets of black ink.

I really enjoy using this boy collection and make it work with pictures of my girls. I hope this page inspires you to use You Rock for girly projects too! Thanks so much for visiting the blog today! Have a great day!

Sweetheart | Wild at Heart | Elodie Lusseau

By | 2017-08-09T06:57:03+00:00 August 17th, 2017|Design Team, Inspiration, Wild at Heart|

Hello everyone!

Elodie with you today to share a new layout featuring the beautiful Wild at Heart collection. This week, we’re focusing on multiple photos. For my page, I used two pics of my oldest girl making stone cakes a few years back. So sweet!

I had no precise idea or design in mind when I started my layout. I just wanted to use white cardstock for the background and gorgeous Wild at Heart supplies. I pushed paper around on my page for a little while until I came up with this grid design using my photos and two cute Wild at Heart chipboard frames.

Next, I went through all the pretty Wild at Heart papers looking for a little something to spice up the white background a bit more. I came across the beautiful Bohemian sheet and cut strips following the chevron pattern. I placed one strip at the top and another one at the bottom of the page. Just what I needed!

I matted the photos with patterned paper cards that I cut out from the Patchwork cut apart sheet and adhered them with foam squares for dimension. I also backed the pretty chipboard frames with the reverse sides of the Luscious and Mariposa papers and I adorned them with butterflies that I fussy cut from the Patchwork sheet.

For the title, I used wood veneer words that I placed on the frames. I then got busy embellishing my page with super pretty Wild at Heart goodies: fussy cut flowers from the Luscious paper, die cuts from the ephemera pack, stickers from the accessory stickers sheet and another lovely fussy cut butterfly.

Last but not least, I added typed journaling strips under the pics and the frames, a couple of sparkly enamel dots and my layout was complete!

I am so in love with this amazing collection! I hope my page inspires you to create with it and use multiple photos on your projects too! Thank you for joining me today! Wishing you a lovely day!
